As promised-better pics showing off the Nitto Ridge Grapplers in 37x11.5x18. A perfect drippy day in the PNW for a little mud spray...

Ok. So I just got the ok to order some volk racing TE37s in an 18x9.5 with a +55 offset. I’m in the process of figuring out a weight reduction on my truck. Ripping out the rear seats as it’s for my dogs anyway and can place their custom bed on the floor. Removing tow hitch since I never or will ever tow with this truck. The chain for the spare. If you have any other heavy items that you might know of send them my way. My one question is since it’s a 18x9.5 with a +55 offset how will threat compare to my +25 offset methods in a 18x9. Will I have to cut more or will it fit even better due to offset? I am all MT and plan to stay there. Thanks.

I would love too. But when I take an 8 hour trip to the Mojave that’s not really an option. I definitely will only bring one Jerry can of gas instead of two like I used too. When I drove coast to coast in this gas hog I almost ran out of gas cause my gps led me to a ghost gas station and had no choice but to bring out the Jerry can. So I will always carry one on long trips. But local daily driving that’s a great idea. I will start doing that. Thank you.

the rim will be a half inch wider, so a quarter inch on each side. That’s a hair over 6mm wider or farther from the centerline.

Basically, you’ll probably want a 1” spacer in order to push your 55 offset back out closer to the 25. Too much offset is just as tricky as too little.

Well I’m not worried about it matching the +25 offset I have. I just want to make sure it will work before I spend that kind of money. If it sucks in the tires back to stock I can always remove the bushwacker flares and it’s no sweat off my back as long as it works without more cutting. I didn’t even know about them till my boss who has a raced out non street legal 370z with red TE37s brought it to my attention. After I saw his Z in person I was like Damn! I gotta get me a set. Then I saw the price. Ouch. But shit it will make my wheel/tire combo 15lbs lighter at each corner. Worth it to me. I’m trying to stay under my GWVR and still keep all my armor and RTT on my truck. I’m close to it at 7080lbs now.

Yeah the spacer will be to keep the tire off the UCA and skid plate and sway bar (if you still have one).

I’ve been in love with the TE37 for a hot minute and would run them if they had beadlocks. Check out Proyotatype’s TEs... he found them in 0 offset.

Also if you’re into performance and light weight and you’re in the Bay Area, you might wanna hookup with the BASTRDS. They off road seriously and camp comfortably. Off the top of my head there’s @joonbug @831Tun @GodlessPro @Vizsla (Arizona) and I’m missing someone. And there’s also the Speed Glampers Uberfahrt or SGU. We’re kinda all over the Southwest and hang out with the BASTRDS a lot. @osidepunker @papasmurf @roypark @Spolar @jc153 @Challenger1 @zackbremer whats Soop’s handle? @n2deep i feel like I’m missing a couple of us.
Probably woulda been easier to tag you into one of our threads.

Hey Jimes, hope you're well. I'm not sure but I think the +55 offset will work a little better than the +25. I've seen a couple trucks run 37s on +60 w/o serious modifications. Worst case scenario, you add wheel spacers. Your issues, if you run into them, will be with the cab mount, the front bumper and, like @KevinK said, skid plate/sway bar.

also Caster, if you run 4-5+ caster that will help with clearance from the body mount

Won’t +55’s hit the rear bypasses and possibly the UCAs? And it’ll look way too tucked in like stock offset. Personally I’m not paying thousands of dollars for wheels to have to run spacers when it’s not necessary.

All you said is possible, I'm just not sure. I know @CMlenny ran 37 12.5 on stock wheels.

Ha! He had to grind his stock UCAs to clearance the tire!!! Not sure weakening your suspension is a good choice just to run pretty wheels.

@5.7TRDProm is running 37' with +25 off set and stock fenders.
I will be mounting my 37's this weekend and report back..
I'll be running it with the 6 speed Icons that are +25 offset.
