Nope, there is a trigger wire that you tap into the reverse light signal on your tail light, when that's on, it'll overwrite everything and put the reverse camera on the screen. The front camera, you have to press a button to have that display, rear is automatically on when you shift to reverse.

Roger, that's what most of them do. Seems to work fine in most units. Thanks for the info. Do you like the unit overall? How does it do with Waze, apps, etc?

I love it, it's like having a 10" iphone on your stereo, waze works just like it would on your iphone and shows where the cops hide and such, and warn you. Game with google maps now.

Most cameras for HU's are wired into the reverse light wiring. When vehicle is put into reverse, the HU is triggered into camera mode, until no longer in reverse.

Strapped my bag of tie downs into the truck. Good old fashioned canvas and leather straps.

Parked her in the shop :)

Oh and yesterday one my bike buddies and I came up with the proper nick name for my truck. Everyone meet Mountun Goat.

Like any old goat, my truck isn’t exactly attractive looking but it’s very capable and gets the bikes to any shuttle drop off with ease :amen:

Had these mounted and alignment done. 305/55/20 with a +12 offset and only a leveling kit is pushing it. Mud flaps removed. Wheel well plastic on the front bumper modified but it's tight. No rubbing now though. 20191125_094414.jpg

I want zero rubbing what so ever. I might have to heat and mold that front bumper plastic to get what I'm after. I'll update with how it does after driving a bit. The tires poke out almost 2". I'm loving the look so far

Yeah it looks great. I routinely have my rear axle against the bump.stops so I always have to make sure there's no rub at full stop

I haven't had mine that far yet and may never. It's a pavement princess.
