Finally about 95% done with Redarc dual battery setup using their BCDC to charge the auxillary battery and an isolator just in case the primary needs a jump.

    + Switch pros install

    Process was tedious because:

    1. Had to make cables from scratch
    2. Organize Genesis battery tray
    3. Ran wires to all lights in the bed.
    4. Installation of Switch pros.

Thanks for sharing this. Originally I wanted to go this route, but I knew I wouldn't be able to do such a clean job. Went a different route with a separate battery and REDARC controller in the bed. Cost about the same minus the SP.

Yup, very tedious because the genesis tray was a real tight fit w/ the 18+ LED headlights. That total above was just for the dual battery part, the switch pros parts & needed parts was another story. but the most time was spent figuring out how to stack equipment/parts on that genesis tray. + didn't want anything more on the bed since it gets packed camping

Hi Guys, new to this forum. I am slowly building out an over landing Tundra this year and want to start with the inside before I beef up the outside. I am torn between the dual battery system using either Genesis setup or Redarc Battery Manager 30. I came across this post and was curious why you went with the Genesis and just the REDARC battery charger? From what I have been researching it looks like I may want to run the REDARC BMS 30 to a Battle Born Lithium Battery and put both of these in the bed of the truck. Im building the entire bed out as well so it will not just be flopping around back there. Just trying to get your thoughts on your system
3mxdivr ? I am a complete rookie at this and it looks like you did a great job on your install. I will be running the ARB 65 qt fridge, I will have a winch, light bars, inside lights, pure sin inverter, and charging phone, laptop, and iPad constantly.

@3mxdivr Do you have a better picture of the gauge on your console and what mount you used? I was thinking of mounting a gauge there and was looking for a mount.

How was the install on the victory bed side molle grid? for your propane tank are you using the mount from power tank? Set is nice, i'm looking to get the victory bed side molle grid and mount my power tank and propane

I saw you never got a response and only posted one time. If you do what you described, please post a thread. I too am thinking I’d maybe rather power with a lithium ion batter than run a dual batter system. Please hit me up (tag me by typing “@“ and “Sunnier” with no space between) if you do. Thanks!

I did get stage one complete, which is putting it all together and working. I'm deciding how to redo the box that I have it incorporated in. I will have to take some pictures to post. @Sunnier
