I just purchased an 03 Tundra and neither the cruise control or horn work. Any chance they are o the same circuit? On what fuse?
    Thanks for any help.

Typically when both go it means the spiral cable has snapped.

What the heck is that? The cable through the steering column?
Does anyone know the OEM part number off the top of their head?
    Thanks again!

Yes, cable going through the steering column and plugs in to the back of the wheel. It’s made to turn and spin while still providing consistent contact for the horn, cruise, and air bag.
Go to Toyotapartsdeal.com and you can get an oem part for about the lowest possible price.

Thanks, I'm familiar with the more generic description of "clock spring"
Hmmm, the Toyota part is about $280 and the aftermarket part is about $12. I believe in OEM when possible, but this seems pretty extreme. What experience have folks had with the aftermarket options?

84306-0C021 is the correct part number for a 2003 model.

I just don't know if I could trust an aftermarket part like that when it comes to the airbag.

What part is that? I've got my old steering wheel just sitting here. If it's a part off that maybe I can help.

I had a busted clock spring for ages on my last Tundra after a repair shop botched a steering rack install.

I finally swapped it out and it took maybe 15 minutes.
