Jacked up took measurements and back on the ground. Both are the same. So shackles could be the problem?

Is the shock really bad, or has it just been hanging out with the wrong crowd?

Just wondering if the problem was present before the lift.

Look. There are only a couple parts in your rear suspension that affect ride height. The leaf spring, your blocks, and your shackles. If your shackles didn’t bind wierd, which they will sometimes do, then one of the springs is more arched than the other. Tundra springs are well known for loosing their arch. Lifts exacerbate that problem as you are changing the amount of force your axle can place on the spring under acceleration and deceleration.

Could the block be on wrong? Is one not in the hole making higher? Angle wrong on one? Just throwing ideas. That’s a big difference to be off.

I double checked the other side. My son told me when we put our boat on there that the rear dropped only a .5 with the boat on there when I lifted it up. So it was all level until now

Only two bolts holding the shocks, just take it out and test it out.
If not flip side see if there is a difference

If it's level after jacking up and releasing the rear, then something is binding in the rear suspension. Jump up and down in the bed and then check the heights. If it's different, jack the rear again. Remove the bottom bolts of the shocks and Jump up and down in the bed again. If different again, it's probably in your spring bushings. Loosen the shackles and try again. You should be able to narrow down the problem this way. Just be sure to tighten everything back up before driving. Don't expect the service dept to be open tomorrow.

    Good luck!

Thanks. For me to check the shocks just unbolt the 2 bolts ? I will not have to jack my truck up? When I unhook the shock the shock should extend out? If it’s good what should the shock do and if bad what will the shock do? Sorry very dumb on this.

If you can remove the shock without jacking up the truck, there is no way at all the driver side shock is pushing the truck up an inch

My point with the shock is that if you can compress it with your arms, it isn’t strong enough to push up the bed of the truck

I have to run to store and when I get back I will check them shocks. I have jumped in the bed and the shocks seem to be working.

Ok guys this is my findings. So I drove the to the store and on level ground 1.5 out of wack still. Drove back home and it’s only .5 off from the driver side. I parked in the same spot. I know cause I marked it with chalk. Ideas? So so weird. About to check the shocks

Something is binding. I’d remove the 2 lower shock bolts and make sure they’re clear of the mounts. Bounce the bed and check the height. If it’s even, check the shocks. They’ll probably be pretty hard for you to push up, but they should go up and then extend. Measure the shock lengths and see if they’re even.

Loosen the shackle bolts and re torque them. Also double check the torque in the ubolts. It is possible that you’re getting a crap ton of axle wrap from those big blocks and its just messing with spring flexing, causing it to sit different.

On one side again? Shocks disconnected?

Next check the shackle bolts. I’d loosen them & jump in the bed with them loose.
