Use a lower rpm. Ideal to do it in the shade on a cooler day. Once the eraser gets too hot it just smears the glue instead of balling it up and coming off. Take lots of breaks to let it cool off too. These tips made the world of difference for me after doing it too fast a couple times in the past.

Good to know, thanks! Most of the spots will have new badges on except where the Tundra door badges and the Toyota on the tailgate were.

I'm replacing my flexible brake lines with extended length stainless steel reinforced pieces from Low Range Off-road (over the rear differential and in the front) and heavy duty reinforced pieces from SDHQ (rear axle to rear caliper).

    IMG_20190830_200941220.jpg

While I'm in there I'm changing the front brake pads, flushing the DOT 3 fluid and switching to DOT 4.

DOT 4 is compatible with DOT 3 systems and has a higher boiling point to help prevent brake fade.

If anyone is curious, DOT 5 and 5.1 have even higher boiling points, but DOT 5 is not compatible with our brake system at all.

DOT 5.1 is in the same family as 3 & 4 (glycol-based), but it's about 14 times more expensive than DOT 3 and may cause problems with the ABS system.

DOT 4 is completely compatible and only costs about 2 times as much as DOT 3 which Toyota puts in the Tundra.

I slide my airbox lid over a bolt hole. I’m curious to see if it makes a power difference or not.:crapstorm:

I found that everything I tried doing other than leaving the stock airbox alone caused truck to lose low end torque:(

After limping along on Nitto tires that were beginning to crack, I replaced them with Cooper Discover MTP, same size (295/70/18). I would like to see a longer lifespan than Nitto (3 & 1/2 years).

    I did this.

Sequoia lights are in. 100% plug & play thanks to xrunnerdude67. They look great even missing the fill panels. (picking up Tuesday from being painted)

I ended up with Black SR5 & silver Platinum lights (eBay seller said it was black) It's hard to find a reasonable deal on these so I'll suck it up.

This is the difference between silver & black.

1135 for the lights (535 & 600) both from eBay. It's hard to find them without damage/missing mounting points & 110 for the harness.

If you are willing to get the lights missing mounts/scratched they are less. I wasn't.

I forgot the fillers. Thay were 80 I think and I'm paying 70 to paint them so another 150 = 1395.

44.43 each & I needed the little plastic thing that goes between the truck & panel that was 6.80 each plus 11 shipping so 104.66 actually.
