Installing higher watt alternator than the original

    Does anyone know if I can install the 130w or 150w alternator in my Tundra which came with the 100w alternator. The 150w is installed on the Tundras with the tow package. I believe that my alternator has gone out and I may want to install the tow package at a later time.

    One little thing, it's amps, not watts that alternators are rated in. Just to save some confusion when you go to buy one. FWIW, 150A amps at 12V = 1800Watts
