So I noticed only one of our listed vendors has a bumper for 1st gens Why don't we have any 1st gen vendors that make bumpers?
In this thread I will attempt to compile a list and pics of available armor for our trucks. Please feel free to help.

Hopefully more vendors will start making some for the 1st gen but I think it will come down to demand on the bumpers and not a lot of people willing to spend over 1K for it. I know I paid $1500 for my Addicted offroad bumper. Out of the list above, I think the better looking bumpers are Bruteforce and Addicted plate bumper.

I'll be the oddball. I like that Iron Bull the most, it's the least obtrusive I think.

I've seen a few ARB in real life and a few of the addicted tube bumper, the addicted tube looks busy in pics but looks better in person.

Is there a manufacturer offering a rear bumper for first gen trucks that's similar to this one?

Looks like the least approach angle too. Well to be fair it's probably tied with the 2 or 3 other uggos.

I like both the addicted ofroad bumpers. But I'd take the plate over the tube. I just think tubes look better.on square body trucka

Saw one for.sale on Dallas craigslist last November for like $300. I passed because it's too bulky imo
But my.dumb ass bought the dude's custom rear bumper. Which was a waste. I lost money selling it later.

What's the deal with tube vs plate? I assume the tube are a lot lighter? Are there other benefits?

I think it's just a style thing, but the tube might be lighter. Tubes were popular on early 4x4s. Maybe because they can be made really simple but still look and perform good.

Looking at Coastal Offroad's site, I kind of like their bumper too. It's pretty unobtrusive and the hoop doesn't stick out very far. They're a Canadian company too it seems and their bumpers come in well under $1000 Canadian. $650CAD for the one below actually.

The catch for some people is you need to weld it together yourself. I'm a journeyman welder so no problemo for me, that may be a deal breaker for others though.

Yes, eventually I'll try to compile a rear bumper list. As well as a skid plate list and a slider list

Some of those don't look much different than the OEM bumper from a clearance standpoint. Are they just for looks?

@Swalters or anyone else. Do you know if the Brute Force Fab bumper will still work in conjunction with skid row armor?

Awesome list @because_wumbo-truck thank you for putting this together, was just wasting some time looking at some bumper options when this popped up. Definitely liking that costal offroad one, might be looking into that for my 06 soon.

We have had the Hard Notched Customs unit on our '06 for a few years. It feels solid, good welds and powder coat. Gave the front a free lowering job at the time. We ended up with Fox 2.5s and Camburg uppers, so I'm calling it a win.
