So the 0 offset doesn't directly help the fenders, the fenders allow for more tire stuffing with that offset...and less offset is better for off-road performance.

The fiberglass fenders also stick out or widen the body about 4 inches a side so you want your tires to stick out further to fill the space.... or you get the funny look like your truck skips leg day

Glass fenders are mostly for LT where the wheel base is 5" (total both sides) or more wider than stock. The compression travel would send your wheel half way up through your OEM fender. 0 offset helps with LT too because the tire (when you run 35" or lager) can, and in my case, does hit the inner fender. So, the 0 offset has less of the tire hitting the inner fender meaning less BFH to the inner fender to create clearance. Generally 0 offset will cause all kinds of body mount rubbing issues. So, the solution is heimed uppers, LCA all the way forward and align with the heimed uppers. Good luck finding a competent shop to do this.

Finally got my 37s on. Had to pull the truck from the dealership and took it to America’s tire. Now I need an alignment. Weird how a tire shop doesn’t do alignments. KM3s 37x12.5r18s on method grids. +18 offset. Cleared body mount from original BMC by 1/8” from milo. Hopefully the alignment gives me some more clearance. What’s everyone’s alignment specks so I can show the shop what I want? Thanks. EFBBC4F5-4EF7-4840-B403-EA95DFFD24F3.jpg79D27EBE-672B-43BD-B5B3-20DD92E361E8.jpg

The numbers don’t necessarily give you more room. You move the LCA as forward as possible and then move them back to hit the numbers you want. Meaning you can hit the same numbers with your wheels more forward or more back. With maybe a little difference in caster. But it takes a good alignment tech that knows what he’s doing.

Ok. So I’m assuming this will be a fun adventure finding a good shop for this.

@Trdwillie14 recommended a shop that is right down the street from me. Looked them up online and turns out they’ve been in business for over 50 years in pacifica. I’m gonna call them in the am and see if they can do what you said about moving the LCAs forward and still trying to be within specs.

Oh I forgot to mention. These tires are as quiet as my nitto ridge grapplers which is really nice for an M/T tire. I was surprised to be honest. I was expecting more noise than the nittos, but they’re about even. I hear my Frozen slotted rotors more than the tires when I’m driving up against a wall or barrier. Granted they are new so we’ll see how they get when they wear down a bit.

I took my truck to AI, they're in the same complex as Milo and they were the best I've found yet.

I’ll hit them up if the local shop can’t do it or if I do it locally and don’t like the results. Thank you.

Alignment depends a little bit on driving preference, but I usually ask for this on our MT with 0 offset.

    Cross .10/.12

    Camber -.5

    Caster 3-4

Some say get as much caster as you can, but I find too much caster actually doesn’t fit my driving style. I like a lively and responsive wheel. Not twitchy, just responsive. I hate a lazy boat-like feel.

Cross should be a little on the higher side if you’re on 0 offset and drive a lot of fast highway miles, especially if you’re on a 13.5 wide tire instead of a 12.5. The additional drag will pull the front tires into a toe out at higher speed. That causes wandering and tire wear.

So I finally got it aligned and now I’ve got plenty of room for activities. I ended up going to Agundis tire in South San Francisco. As soon as I got there they brought it in and an hour later it was done. Had to pull if from dealership as they had it for two days and didn’t do shit. They apologized and offered a free oil change. Now to put on all my skids again. Now I have to find a loading dock to test it while articulating.

I took it to the right shop. I told them I wanted as much caster as possible by adjusting the LCAs forward with staying in spec everywhere else. Best part was that they did it in one hour. First time I’ve taken my truck anywhere and got my work done the way I want it in a timely manner. Unheard of with mechanics. Glad it’s done and now back to breaking in the gears so I can test this bitch off road. C4 hybrid bumper and warn winch are the last on my list. Otherwise the truck is exactly how I want it.

The price was right too at $100. Everyone else I called was more expensive and probably would have taken longer.

Maybe a c4 rear bumper to match the front one that I’m going to order. That’s of course if they make one in the future. Hopefully it’s a high clearance bumper. I’m not afraid or worried about chopping the truck to make things fit. So only time will tell.

Can you share your alignment numbers? Caster limitation due to the ADS 3.0 clearance with tie rods and axles is what has been putting a damper on my day dreams about 37s.

Oh trust me. I knew the first day it was released. Ha ha. I’ve been on it since my boy showed me the bumper on Instagram since I’m not on any social media except for this forum. I just paid loot for the new tires and I wasn’t expecting them to release it this month. Guess I should have believed them. Just need to work a little overtime and I can order it. Or if I get my quarterly bonus check.

so looks like I’m rubbing on my sway bar at full lock either way but not by much. I’m looking to remove it and wondering if I need to get another alignment after removing it or am I good to go?
