I installed the 3/1 level kit on my truck myself. It was the first time I’ve ever done it and was surprised how easy it was. I took it to Toyota to align it and well it’s not perfect. The truck has visibly noticeable positive camber. The tech didn’t seem too concerned as all the other adjustments were within tolerance. I’ve since put 4,000 miles on it with no issues.

Should I be concerned about this?

What are the recommended tire and wheel combo for this lift.

Post up your alignment sheet. Toyota’s tolerances are way to broad. A lifted Tundra cannot be aligned the same as a stock one. 99% chance the tech had no earthly clue how to align it properly. Noticeable positive camber indicates it is not a proper alignment. Also, keep in mind 3” is the point at where you start maxing out adjustments using stock UCA. You may need aftermarket to get to where it needs to be. But post your sheet and we can start from there.

@danmiller369 too many alignment "techs" do not know how to properly alignment vehicles these days. Changing the geometry of your truck suspension generally alters the trigonometric values of the original suspension. In short, you wont be able to apply the same alignment numbers as if it were stock.

Post the alignment sheet on here, and many folks will chime in on what really needs to be adjusted. Hope this helps, and enjoy your lift!

Here is the alignment sheet from the dealer. The tech said the camber was maxed out.

Yikes. That is way off. You will most likely need new adjustable UCAs in order to get back to a proper alignment.

Maybe he said the caster was maxed out. I don’t recall. At any rate when I look at the truck from the front the top of the wheels are out wider than the bottom of the wheels.

Your caster, camber, and toe are all wrong. Toe is easy to fix. But caster and camber cannot be corrected without adjustable UCAs.

What should they be and should I be able to obtain these numbers without major surgery and expensive parts.i was under the impression that the coil spacer kits were pretty common and didn’t require additional parts.

I was told I didn't necessarily need new UCAs if only doing a 3/1, but I got them anyways just due to the fact that that the adjustable UCAs are easier to get the proper alignment. Haven't had an issue with them and glad I did it.

    Camber L- 0.0-0.2. R - same
    Caster L- 2.1-2.4 R- 2.4-2.7
    Toe - 0.5 - 0.7 per side w/no more than .15 Total toe.

The numbers come from data collected over the years of Tundras being in production and what works in lifted applications.

Gents, I didn’t listen to you guys and I trusted the Toyota dealer like an idiot.

the outside edges of my tires are all worn while the rest of my tire is good. The service manager at the Toyota dealership is basically saying that his tech did a good job and everything is correct. And if there is ware on the tires then it cause my truck got out of alignment when it left his shop.

How should I proceed with this? Am I SOL?
