haha!! For sure, someone's alternator is going down, and steering bushings are definitely going to get smoked. I think we have a need....a need for speed! :burnrubber::bikewhoops: Where's the Top Gun Volleyball high five emoji on this piece?

Just saw this on YouTube. I wonder how long until they make this for the tundra? Full cab mount relocation kit. 37s will have so much room might have to go bigger!

Not true with 3" lift because rubber mount itself still in the same location, you ending up interfering with rubber mount itself and actual body cab the more negative offset you have from ideal of +18mm to +25mm.

Agree to disagree. The way I see it from the video is if you remove a ridiculous amount of the body mount there is going to be alot more room for tires/negative offset regardless of lift size. Not an engineer by any means but i do know more room = more room for larger tire

I'm gonna agree to disagree again.. unless your going with higher offset wheel or a larger lift the relocation of the body mount would be irrelevant. I've had to trim pinch moldings on the firewall.. I'm well clear of my body mount however. So even with relocation, with a 0 or negative offset wheel, at 3 inches of front lift, the firewall then becomes the limiting factor

Oooh. I see what your getting at now. If your lift size/offset hits the pinch welds still then no it is not applicable to you. But this is the dirty seven club post some have more than a 3" and not having to worry about pinchwelds as much. That's the side I'm looking in from. But I do see what your saying now my bad

I'm gonna have to agree to really agree.
This is correct, if you go outside of the range of the sweet offset, then the pinch weld and fender area come into play. The Body mount becomes irrelevant

How stoned was that dude at the beginning?

and yeah, as others have said, for the Tundra, an aggressive chop is as much as you need (even for low lift, high offset). you can get it right up close to the firewall with a serious chop.

In fact the most useful thing for more clearance would be if you could rotate the mount itself, more so than shifting the frame horn. As you can see I actaully trimmed right up and partway through the bolt.

Finally got my 37s. I know a little late to the show, but can’t wait to see how the truck drives with my new 5.29s and tires. I went with the 37x12.5r18s BF Goodrich km3s. Waiting on my truck to get back from the gear shop. Both lockers were leaking badly. Bad initial install. New shop was very picky and showed me all the issues in person and should be ready tomorrow. Then I can take it into the dealership to put the tires on and do the alignment.

I had no choice to get these. I need more clearance. I got my ass stuck messing around in Tahoe area trying to climb over a ledge. Bad angle and tow hitch was in the dirt and couldn’t go forward or backwards. I thought it was hilarious as that was my first time getting stuck. Wife not so much. Ha ha. Was just on a solo day trip and didn’t air down and just went about it all wrong. With no winch. I had to dig out the hitch and put a rock on my back tires to get out. Wish I got a side view pic. And like a dumb ass I left the key to my maxtrax at home. 3DA7FD5A-807C-41B1-A06A-136AE5FDF245.jpgBE299627-6DF0-4A9F-803E-F4AB0F84BDD6.jpg5F7D9F74-5E5A-4ED6-99F4-5276225EC1B4.jpgED0A8A1F-CDC2-4B90-BEEE-6DA6815BC33B.jpg

And I love it! I dont have to worry about wandering kids because the parents are busy cheering drinks at a camp post or no over hill spotters while one is trying to send it for the gram. Sadly, my trip is about to come to an end in 2 more days, been on the road around since the 4th.
