    XB FOG LIGHT INSTALL GUIDE

XB FOGS ARE A DIRECT SWAP

    Gen 2
    1. You need to go through the wheel well liner. Once you remove it, you will have access to the fogs.
    2. Disconnect the fog lights connector.

    3. Theres 1 Plastic retainer that holds the fog light in place. Use a flat head screw driver to unlock it. Remove the fog light by pushing foward and out.

    4. Get your new XB fogs. The fog lights are L/R Oriented. Look on the back of the lights to locate the L/R letters to know which side. R= Passenger, L=Driver.

    5. Check the connectors polar pattern. Its reversed compared to standard connectors. Insert the wires into the blank connector noting the proper orientation of the Positive and Negative wires. (Be careful as once you lock it in the connector, its extremely difficult to remove).

    6. Slide the XB fogs in its place and use the plastic retainer to lock it in place.

    7. Connect the Fog Lights to OEM connector.

    Gen 3
    1. You need to go through the wheel well liner. Once you remove it, you will have access to the fogs.

    3. Disconnect the fog lights connector.

    2. There are two slots and 1 screw that holds the stock in place. Remove the scew and slide the stock fog light.
    3. Get your new XB fogs. The fog lights are L/R Oriented. Look on the back of the lights to locate the L/R letters to know which side. R= Passenger, L=Driver.

    4. Check the connectors polar pattern. Its reversed compared to standard connectors. Insert the wires into the blank connector noting the proper orientaion of the Positive and Negative wires. (Be careful as once you lock it in the connector, its extremely difficult to remove).

    5. Slide the XB fogs in its place and either use the new screw that came with the fogs or re-use the old. Its a tighter fit as the tabs on the XB are thicker. Tighten the screw down.

    6. Connect the Fog Lights to OEM connector.

    AIMING

Since everyone has different heights on their truck, I cant give you a specific way to aim them. Best way is before removing your old fogs, drive back 10-15ft from a wall or ground and use tape to mark where your lights are.

The XB fogs are projector base LED's so the light will be more focused. Start by aiming them to the stock levels. Drive around without headlights on (parking lights off) so you can see where the spread is.

Spread should be about 4-10 ft in front of your truck depending on your headlights.

For those with retrofits, you want the XB fogs to end right at the beginning for your main HID or LED projector beam spread.

For those with stock halogen reflectors (with or without hid or led upgrades in reflector housings), you want the beam to end towards the middle of the main headlights beam spread.

Raise and lower to get your optimum desired height.

    Hope this helps guys

Do these fit right into the stock housing of the fog lights?

I'll probably place my order over the weekend after I install the retrofit headlights that you built for me. Once my wife sees that the color of the fogs don't match the headlights, she'll say something and it will give me the opportunity to "find" these. Tundra is her DD and she has an issue with things not matching. I will capitalize on her OCD.

Is there a picture of these installed? They kinda look like the lenses are smoked or a little darker than the OEM's. If so, I'm in.

It's easier when she thinks it's her idea. It's not really an issue of cost. She picked this Tundra out and doesn't like it when I mess with it. She refuses to let me black out the chrome. I got the retrofit headlights because she complained about how weak the factory halogens are. Gotta take the opportunities that present themselves.

Eledobleu does a great job on the retros. He just did mine and they came out great. Have had many compliments and the light out put is no comparison to the stock. Huge difference!!
