    How are the grab handles attached? Can you remove them and screw in that way? If so you could really make a solid mount.

    Once I make a prototype for my dc, i want to test fit on your ac. I don’t even know where the rear grab handles are in an ac. They might not match up at all.

    Start checking the obvious areas like where the flanges bolt up. Mine had some corrosion that I addressed with two-part epoxy. Also had a side wall blow out that I patched with aluminum and said epoxy on the muffler. Holding well and that little leak spitting sound is gone.

    So even though I should probably save the money, my headlights are badly in need of replacing. The main housings are fogged right up and corner housings are full of moisture.

    RockAuto has OEM style replacements, but by the time I have all I need I'm looking at near $400. I came across these on Ebay. I think the black will add a neat look to my truck and they're way cheaper. I'm also planning on adding Beamtech LED bulbs for the headlights and I'll stick LED in the marker lights. I want to avoid hyper flash so I think I'll avoid LED for the turn signals unless someone has a good option for those.

    What are your thoughts on my plans?

    Housings look good. Our models differ in the headlights, so can’t vouch there.

    Why not try Katanas LED bulbs? For your turn signals, just buy brand new incandescents (cheap) with the amber coating. New incandescents coils will put out much brighter light. The amber coatings were flaking off of mine.

    The Katanas were my first choice. Unfortunately, they don't seem to be available on Amazon Canada or elsewhere in Canada. I think I need H4 (9003) hi/lo for my application if I'm not mistaken. These are the ones that come up on Amazon for me.

    Awesome. I just placed the order for the housings as well. Total for housings and bulbs came to about $300 and change when converted to Canuckistani pesos. Not bad, certainly cheaper than OEM.

    I purchased those headlights for my 2001 & 2005. They look really good. On my 01 no issues what so ever, 05 the side lenses are fogging up.
    As for the bulbs, I have a similar set on my 05. The little notch below the led does a great job of keeping low beam to top of lense. Not as bright as other styles but definitely an upgrade from the halogen bulbs.

    That damn nut is a bitch to get off. Air compressor and a quality impact gun will make life easier. Don't forget the beer, you're gonna need at least 4
