What have you done to your 1st gen Tundra today?

you can't just post this without explaining? Is that an app on your phone? I want it. Edit- should have kept reading. I have Torque Lite on my phone. Do you leave the OBDII plugged in all the time? I tried doing that and it made my ABS light flash. What code reader are you using?

 

I bought a lug nut for the Tundra while i was buying sway bar links and a thermostat for the wife's damn Durango.

 

1. Yep, I have a cheap Amazon bluetooth adapter and I leave it in all the time with no issues.

2, it's low because the truck isn't running.

3, because I don't need or have room for two trucks. this is TBD, so we'll see.

 

Wheels came in today. Was going to get them mounted but the kids are with the in-laws so the wife made me take her to dinner instead.

 

Curious if anyone has this companies bumpers.. i might go this route, not a big deal welding them up

Very similar wheels to what I have and we have the same color and brand of tire. Almost like they are cousin trucks haha.

 

Or after he files it down he can be super picky and get some body filler in there. That's what I'd do. Nobody would know.

Sweet! Yeah I didn’t think I’d like these that much but they are growing on me. Wanted SCS Ray 10’s or Stealth 6 but couldn’t pass up 5 MK6 for $225. I’ll be switching from KO2 this fall though. Hated them in the wet, so will be going with Falken AT3W again.

 

Another well spent few days in the Ozarks. Quite a few water crossings. A few deep ones. I’ll have to get the videos uploaded to YouTube to share.

Truck did amazing. After one of the deep water crossings and mud hole back to back, I thought my alternator went out. It was charging, then not, then charging, then not... luckily once it dried out it held at 14.2v the rest of the trip!

I am gonna pick up a spare alternator to keep with me spare parts. We are heading out to Wyoming next weekend so wanna grab one before then.

 

I think I said this before, this is a damn great thread. I forgot about the torque app, now I know that I have to have it thank you sir.

 

I'm ordering one next week. I like the design.

Fix. That's cheap to enjoy your truck more everyday.
Fix if for no other reason than to not get sponges & rags caught on it when cleaning truck.

Before you have it on the truck & it becomes a PIA to get it fixed.

So it is mostly done. ICON 2.5 extended travel coilovers, Camburg upper control arms, 1/2” spacer driver's side, 1/4" spacer passenger side. Stainless steel performance brake lines front and rear and toytec differential drop kit. ICON 1.5" add-a-leafs, ICON 2.0 VS rear shocks. Coming: SCS Ray 10s 16x8 and BFG All terrains 295/75/16.

It sits damn near level, front sits a tad high but I wanted to allow for break-in and sag.

ICON coilovers set at 1 5/16” of preload (top of adjuster cup to bottom of shock cap)

Bottom of fender to center of hub measurements.

Front Driver: 23”
Front Passenger: 23"
Driver Rear: 23 3/8”
Passenger Rear: 23"

 

An Arizona Wrap company did it for me. They used 3M Metallic Silver Vinyl

 

Which brake lines did you get and what length are they?

Correct me if I am wrong but those are 33.3" correct? They look like they fit no problem. Can you confirm this is accurate?

 

They are from Wheelers. The rear is 2" longer for lifted applications. The fronts are the same length.

 

Lol. No, those are 265/75/16's. A 295/75/16 converts to 33.4 x 11.6

 

Oh, it said "Coming 295" in the post. I thought that seemed off.

Safelite came and replaced my dang windshield after getting a rock ship that split coming back from boating last weekend.

Are you lifting it at all or just chopping the shit out of it?

 

Removed my throttle body and vvt sensors and cleaned them. Also pulled my transmission pan and cleaned out the valve body, shift solenoids, and pressure valves and refilled with new fluid. Trans will shift into overdrive now and drives better overall. Here’s whats under the pan in transmissions if anyone’s curious.

 

quick question...what wheels are those? and are you running any sort of spacer to clear the rotors?
had something similar on a tacoma and they were super tight to the calipers
