    @OVTune

    I have a 17 FFV 5.7, Magnusson SC'd with 4.88 gears with LSD, catback BAM single exhaust, K&N airbox and filter(supplied by Magnusson) and 35" tires. It really isnt happy with the bullydog tune. Its not set up for the gearing or tire change. When I go to pass at high rpm, it wants to jump back and forth between gears etc. In your build, can you correct the shift points with the gear/tire change? Want smooth shifting, whether in in tow/haul or not. Thats my biggest pet peeve. I have a trip across the country (AZ to Sturgis, SD) towing a trailer, in August and really want to have this problem corrected. Magnusson/Bullydog arent much help.

    UPDATE:: I decided to order the kit.. Order 4624. HURRY UP! :)

    Thats my biggest problem..shifting problem to limp mode.. gotta stop and remove a battery cable to get back to normal.

    Totaly understand and similar to when I had Lund Racing do the tune for my GT500. Sent you an email but will share the tip here as well...

    For the Supercharged guys...When you are getting ready to flash the truck pull the fuse for the HX pump as it comes on with the key and does draw significant power. I was only seeing 12.42 with the pump running. 12.51 with the pump running and a charger on the truck. pulling the fuse brought me up to 12.7-12.8 and allowed me to write the new OVTuned Flash :)

    I would imagine it is the dyno testing to complete the initial Tundra tunes release, but that is purely speculation on my part based upon the equipment they recently received and the commitment to release performance numbers and complete the initial tune offerings next week or so...

    We can fully tune and correct shift points for any gear, up and down. Along with the torque converter. Our tune eliminates the flex fuel issue on trucks where they get the check engine light and limp mode from fuel pressure / fuel pump high demand switch over.

    currently we can only do 2019s by removing the ECU, not something we are offering at this time or testing further yet.

    Correct, currently we are not offering anything for the 2019. We have not advertised anything for any version of the 2019 Tundra yet.

    Ok. If there is a group buy, even though I have a '19 , could I still get in on it and just wait for it's release?

    Ok. How about I buy for '18 and just don't use it till y'all have '19'' figured out? Or are you thinking the '19 will require different hardware? I thought it'd be similar to the '18 BUT, I am no programmer so just my thoughts.

    Changing damn near everything for 2018, I can't see how the 2019s would be that different...2020 yes. But I guess you have the best working on it so it is what it is

    @OVTune

    What sort of power difference do you think naturally aspirated ffv trucks will see using flex fuel/ethanol vs 93 octane? Do you plan on doing this on the Dyno at some point?

    I decided to order my kit early so I can start on getting my truck tuned before the rest of you guys order you kits. . I'm afraid of a huge delay/line to get the tunes dialed in for everyone.

    I read over on Tacoma world, there was some kind of problem with the tacoma having 6 lugs and the Dyno set up not being able to accommodate it. This was for the Tacoma. So maybe the tundra didn't get a Dyno either. Just speculation though.

    Anyway, its a pretty good thread if you want to see how it's going for the Tacoma. Everyone seems to be very happy with their trucks and the ov programming. Apparently, there was a lot of room for improvement in the whole performance of these tacomas. It's really got me wondering just how much the tundra will be improved over stock. Im pretty excited to find out first hand.

    Patience...It will arrive and you can start the process. Sounds like they are busy getting things dyno'd and working on the base tunes right now.

    Still waiting for the first revision post log's myself, and it need's revised for sure :). I pulled my 16' Jon boat 30 miles the other day and the truck felt power wise like it thought it was pulling my 20' deck boat. Hopefully they get caught back up this month. Ive a 2K mile trip planned pulling the toyhauler the week of July 4th at some higher elevations and I may have to reflash the stock tune and and the crappy shifting BD tune just for that trip. Otherwise....other than that potential hickup...I am really looking forward to seeing these OV Tundra tunes develop and bear fruit :)

    That is exactly the reason I want to get started, and tuned as well. I have some shift issues, and am taking a 3000 mile trip August 1st, (AZ to Sturgis, SD and back) pulling an enclosed trailer and my harleys. I have been SC'd for 9 months and have always had these shift issues. The thought of finally having them resolved has made me impatient. I'm not upset or anxious about it, just excited.

    EDIT:: YAY!! Kit arrived today.. now I wait.

    @MrMax Your trip is coming up fast.. hopefully they can get you figured out quick. I still have a month and a half. I love the power the bulldog gives me, but with having the 4.88 gears the shifting is not good.

    Yes we have had a few hub issues that we are getting sorted. So the Tundra is a little bit behind. Not much longer though
