Bump... Any way to let the driver have control of the damn windows even though you locked from other passengers? It's driving me crazy having to swiftly push the button to turn off the lock for me to have control. The driver should ALWAYS be able to have control.

Not to sound Un-American, but whatever happened to the Japanese being superior to the Americans in technology? These Trucks are lagging tremendously. The 2019 Highlander ain't too fare behind either.
My speculation; TOYODA IS A GREEDY M F COMPANY!

My 19 Crew does have LED lights though, that rules.

I just want auto up on the driver side and i'd be happy. My 2013 SR5 4Runner had it and when I saw the "auto" button when checking out my new tundra I kind of just assumed it went both ways. Seriously WTF toyota how much did you save not having auto up when you already had auto down?

I'm going to install a module soon. I'll try to take pictures and such. Usually there's is a constant hot feeding the module do it would work with an aftermarket keyless. But I only cared for it to work when the key is on, so I took power from the factory wires that energize with the key for the windows. On my 1st Tundra.

My 15 4Runner is full auto. I may see if the switches are interchangeable...

I believe the "auto" is built in to each window regulator, not switches. My wife's '14 4Runner is all auto too. Hers is just an SR5.

My 14 4Runner SR5P had full auto windows too. Did you ever find out if you can use the switches to accomplish this?

I can't believe my new 2019 only has auto-down on the drivers window, wtf Toyota?

I'd settle for just auto up on the driver's window. I mean come on it has auto down, why not

Toyota is conservative company that's for sure.. but GREEDY?? I have to disagree. Anyways Tundra head development is lead by some Mike guy, so blame him, not Toyota. He's directly in charge of what "Tundra" should have.

Hey @Roman what do you think the odds are of getting this done? Do the window switches go to the same module for the 4Runner and the Tundra?

If you're trying to simply swap switches, it definitely won't work. New regulators/motors would have to be utilized as well, and would definitely be a completely custom install as I'm sure the parts won't just swap over easily.

I could be wrong, but aren't the regulators the same between all of the non auto windows(rear left and right and front passenger)? The same goes for the auto down front regulators(on the limited and platinum)?

Dang, I knew it couldn't be just an easy plug-n-play. Oh well, at least I have auto-headlights (4Runner lacked) lol

Yes, but the motors are not the same and would have to come from a different model with auto up/down, which probably wouldn't fit the stock Tundra regulators. Unless there's another work around that I'm unaware of.

The easiest thing would be to put an auto window module on them. I did on the front doors of my '14 Tundra. I'm going to do the same to this '19..... eventually. Now this is only my 2 cents. On the SR5 and lower, the switches are high current or the load goes through the switch. On the higher models, I think they are low current, just sending directional signals to the individual door regulators. If you listen to your driver window switch. When you auto down, you'll hear a click or relay release when the window is at the end of travel. If you have factory all auto, do the same and you'll hear the click in each door. Cheapest, easiest is gonna be auto modules. Like DEI 535T.
