Oh my. This is very intriguing. How about you just start color matching 2 of everything from now on and we will talk?

I wanna do my pro grille so badly. Never mind the door handles, full mirrors, tailgate handle......you've got it down to a science and do great work man. I'm jealous

Thanks! Just practice. I haven’t done a large body piece yet like the grill. A little intimidating actually. If you start small on a spare part, you can practice. You should give it a go.

    Automotive touchup?
I keep saying I'll but a full kit from them and then chicken out. I need to just do it and try a small part. I think its the sanding that scares me. Sandpaper on paint doesnt seem right to me but I know its necessary. I assume adhesion promoter is a must for these plastic parts? And do you use a 2k clear?

Yes Automotive Touchup. Yes adhesion promoter. Yes 2k clear. I don’t sand between paint and clear. I sand after primer, then paint, then clear. Wet sand with 1500 grit then 2000 grit. Polish and wax.
Plenty of people will have other opinions and techniques. I’m not opposed to learning more.

Also, the first time you polish after wet sand, and see the results, you will be comfortable.

Installed a Alpine Halo9 kit from tech12volts. After a couple of calls with James Randy, it was an easy install. Now the wife can watch her shows on long rides!

One last tip. Grab some rustoleum and clear coat at Home Depot. Practice with that first. Cheaper.

I agree...I am very picky about things and I can't find a flaw on these things. As long as these stand the test of time I will use him again and recommend him to anyone.

That's funny as I thought the med was a little to dark but I also wanted them a little lighter as it's going on a black Tundra and I think that will make it look even darker.

The cupholder is an easy job. It pries right off easily. Clean it real good and any plastic or trim paint should work. I didn't scuff mine up but its probably a good idea to do so, or maybe adhesion promoter, it gets dinged easily.
Also that little chrome piece around shifter is easier than you'd think. That whole surround pries off and there are a few plastic welds that can be cut easily then paint it and use hot glue in place of plastic welds, huge improvement over the blinding chrome when you catch some sun glare.
