Swtiched headlights and now getting hyperflash- led tail lights

    Hey team, weird thing happened yesterday. I am in the process of stripping my truck down to stock'ish to sell and get a new tundra. I took out my ihacker harness and the 2018 headlights and put in a set of 2016 headlights with factory bulbs. My truck is now hyperflashing- never used to happen with the 2018 headlights (they are non led turn signal). Anyone have an idea of what is going on? I thought the winjets had resistors built into them so this wouldnt happen.

    Did you have to swap the turn signal wiring around. I know you have to change it to put 18 lamps in a 16, so I can only imagine you have to change it back.

    He said he stripping his truck down to stock-ish...so, which parts are non-stock? It matters because the stock headlamps should go right back in with no issues. If he is using something else for headlights then its a bit of a wild card.

    Why I asked about “winjet.”

    This could very well be the case... what was switched around for the 18 headlights? I had my local 4x4 shop install them and the harness when they put my bumper on post deer smashing incident.

    The winjets are staying on the truck, I broke both stock headlights with my boats trolling motor a few years ago

    I will look for the wiring diagram, but it’s 2 wires that have to swap locations on the turn signal harness.
