Funny thing is, Warren @831Tun only wears flip flops when we wheel and I've never seen him go down.

Soo better late then never... I've been crazy busy since Saturday, but i've been thinking about that trip for the past 4 days. i came out (inferno tundra) with my Brother-in-Law who has a jeep. His experience was the same as mine. We had a blast. He was surprised by the good time we had meeting people we never really new before. Being in group 3 was the Best! Big shout out to @Porschetech29 for loaning me that radio, have @Sunnier,@Marty McFly,@Challenger1,@fisherman951, and Jeep Allen on comms really got me to try obstacles i never would have touched. I can't wait for the next trip out, i'll be a little taming until i work out the suspension upgrade. Just got new tires... so i'm bummed and want to wait on wheels and tired! The things that made that trip a huge success was my son is the reason i thought of getting out there. He watches Dirt every day ( some 4x4 show he found on netflix) and they took a Stock Tundra TRD Pro Inferno (Cause its the color that matters the most!) and went on a road trip from Texas to Washington. He asking a couple years back if we could do something like that, and I honestly thought no way i can just go do that. But I was Wrong... Alot of you all showed me that! So hopefully you'll all see more of me on future runs... and will go easy with all my question bout upgrades and directions. Thanks You for our new Mod @Tundra4Pinay, it was great getting to met you, as well as all the others whose names i've forgot... :/ @CaptSpaulding, @15whtrd and a bunch of others!! Don't worry @Sunnier I'm working on some of that Chrome!! :)

I wasn't there, but so stoked you had a blast with your truck and your son! It's so awesome watching (err...watching over the internet this time lol) new-to-offroading people get out there and enjoy themselves!

The dirt is your friend, folks! So what if your truck gets dirty! It will wash off nice and shiny! Let's not take one day for granted. You never know who you will meet or what fun you will have unless you get out of your comfort zone. So many were worried about their suspension and spacer lifts, pin stripes and nobody told me about the knats, one of which dive bombed into my eye!
Not everyone has the funds to go all bat $#it crazy and get new hardware all at once, and that's ok. You can go slow; we will wait for you. But you can still be out there with your family, your kids, and just in the great outdoors where you didn't even think it would be possible! You're not alone! Set a vision of where you want to take your truck, and not just modifications, how will you drive it over that off shoot? How do you improve in your driving over that rock and past that wall of dirt pressed up almost to your door and feel that adrenaline rush.
Now you know what we know. There will be others who can't get out now, but you will. One day. And we - the SoCal folks of this forum - will get you there if you want to enough! No fear! No hesitation! Get going!!!
Not sure when the next trail will be, my hope is sooner than later. Some of us may have mod updates, and more importantly some of us need to reconnect with family and work obligations. Stay tuned!

Awesome!! Yeah, it never works like it should, transforming steps into sliders. But maybe your other half will have fun joining us-- this worked for @nishibot ; the day he tried transforming his, Mrs. @nishibot was right there with him-- and gave her +2 that it was time for a lift... they went 35's!!! :boink:
You're not late but it's cool you're chiming in here. (Your PM made my day when I got that!) Also I LOOOOVE that episode of Dirt Every Day... they let that contest driver take the truck up in Moab and he didn't do what his spotter said and BAM!, dropped the truck down in the crevice.

SOOO lucky that resulted in no damage! (Yes, we know and love that episode. Plus, Inferno!! :woot:

This right ^ here. I had a great time Saturday! :headbang:

Plus, that outing got me over my 'T2S is over' blues :pout: . But now I'm :( again, it's time to head back to work :ballchain:.

    I need another fix, y'all!!

I already wanted a lift.... Went on a run to Pine Valley....high centered, hit steps on almost every woop because I stupidly refused to admit I didn't have enough clearance. o_O
Got off the trail and 1st thing out of her mouth was you need to lift your truck :p:rofl:

Talk about paying it forward: I don't want to speak for @Sunnier or @nishibot , but @eccracer104 helped the three of us out at Pine Valley last summer and that's all she wrote. Don't try to resist @nlaroy , just bring your son and enjoy the ride.

X 2 My Inferno 3rd gen is 2WD but I've had a great time playing in it because I invested in SDHQ sliders so I don't have to worry about bending the frame or rocker panels while trying stuff I "can't do".
