Hey guys! My name is Curtis from Tucson, Arizona but I'm more commonly known as "The Plastics Guy". I am the sole owner, operator, and manufacture of DUROBUMPS

Durobumps LLC is the first and only Dual Durometer Rubber Bump Stops created specifically for Toyota Trucks. We don’t create just one universal size bump stop and sell spacers to accommodate your specific lift like our Competitors. Our Bump Stops are built application specific, and made for 2nd & 3rd Gen TUNDRAS, 4Runners, Tacomas, FJs and currently in R&D for 1st Gen Tundras and the Lexus GX 460/470.

Since our Bump Stops are made using Dual Durometer Rubber, we are able to control the compression rate and absorb the up travel inertia in a much more controlled fashion than any of our competitor’s products. The upper portion of our Bump Stops are made of a softer rubber with the primary body of the Bump Stop being much firmer and providing Progressive Dampening upon impact. This greatly increases the vehicle's stability on the trail as the Bump Stops absorb and deaden the suspension’s up stroke in a smooth progressive fashion!

All of our products are Proudly Made In The U.S.A.:oldglory:

I hope to bring the Tundra Community here on Tundras.com together with the help of our good friend @TRON and answer any questions you may have. You can see all of our products and further details at www.toyotabumpstops.com

I'd like to be the first in saying how excited I am to help and be apart of an awesome company that produces a top notch product made right here in the U.S.A.! :oldglory: Earlier this year a friend reached out to me and recommended I contact Curtis at @Durobumps for some R&D of the Tundra Bump Stops. A few short weeks later, I had the first prototype set of front bump stops on my truck and was headed off to Baja California for some product testing in some of the most extreme testing environments known to the off-road world! My Durobumps performed flawlessly throughout the rigorous 5 day expedition, which estimated over 500 miles of brutal terrain! I have no doubt, the trip would not have been the same without these incredible Bump Stops. The smooth progressive feel is as true as they claim, and aids in the suspension up travel limiting those rough bottom outs:cool:

As of right now, the front Bump Stops for 2nd and 3rd Gen Tundras are in full production. The 1st Gen Tundra Front and Rear Bump Stops, as well as the Rear 2nd & 3rd Gen Bump Stops are currently in the R&D phase, but should be released within the next few weeks!

Seriously do not hesitate in grabbing a set and be sure to use my discount code: "TRON10" for 10% off and free shipping!

Welcome Curtis, we met at T2S. Lemme know when you guys have bumps for the TC LT ready and fender liners too. I'll post a pic of my wheel well. The compression travel w/ 37s has reshaped the metal inner fender. So, I think the liners need to mount WAY up in the wheel well.

The problem with that is you will get cracks. Ask me how I know...

If you bend with a bottle jack you can control the places where it bends and do it slowly so you avoid cracks

I don't think this was from the "jump" that @papasmurf pointed out on the Smiley Rock trail. I think it happened on our Barstow detour where an obstacle jumped out of nowhere.IMG_20190430_085108309.jpg

Definitely agree you should hold off and order some Durobumps!
Once we finish the complete kit for Tundra Bump Stops, the wheel well liners will be revisited. It seems like many could benefit from a solid set of liners instead of those loose DIY kits out there

It's all on the works, but we are definitely talking with TC and perhaps a few more big names ;)

You said it! The OEM bump stops do more harm than good.
Indeed and we will certainly stand by that! No foam here.

Well Durobumps are for everyone and I assure you, even pavement warriors will notice the difference! Save your shocks that extra stress and let the bump stops provide some progressive assistance at those mall parking lots and speed humps

Looking forward to your review and not a problem. Glad to help where we can!

    This exactly!
