Anyone have recommendations for a kink free hose So I don’t waste 10 minutes untangling.

Was debating on getting a hose reel and mount on sheet rock but wasn’t sure if it would be strong enough to hold?

Correct, sheetrock will not hold. You would want to anchor to the studs behind the sheetrock.

I had gotten one of these a while back and have been loving it. turns all directions and makes it easy to reel up. i actually bought another for the other side of the house to help with other projects/watering plants.20180224_102607.jpg

As a seasoned aviator and lawn/garden enthusiast, I am strongly considering replacing a parachute with a water hose due to knowing damn well it will hang up on something on the way down...

Just the wall mount version. It's a solid unit. I tried to shop around for the unit but it seems Amazon and Eley direct are the only options. And I didnt see much of a price difference. I just ordered from Eley website. They shipped it the same day. And also received a free quick connect set at the time.

Another option I was considering was one sold on northerntool. Seems like a similar design. But you dont get a 10 year warranty.

Any issues with low water volume with the 3/8" diameter? I find a lot of the expanding hoses that are 3/8 or even 1/2 inch just domt flow enough gpm. I went with the 5/8" zeroG and it seems to flow almost as well as my heavy duty 3/4" rubber hose.

Yes for sure! I was going to write that I notice the pressure difference because of the diameter. However I use it to water my flower bed and parts of my front yard so it’s not a big deal

If I had to wash a car with it, that would suck! Sorry for not including that information beforehand.

I do have a heavy duty hose in the backyard which I use for other instances and also have a power washer :)

I agree. Never thought I would be so excited about or recommend something so heavily like i do these hoses. I had a very nice, very expensive 100' x 3/4" heavy duty hose, it's so effing heavy....but it WAS the best hose I ever had, until the zeroG, I actually ended up giving it away to my brother. To give away a functional 100' hose that WAS the best hose I ever had is saying something about these zeroG's.

The nice thing about the zeroG if you really dont need a hose reel because it's so light and flexible. Even the 100 footer I can just coil up and easily hang onto a cheapo hose holder like it's an extension cord.
