    Hi Everyone,

Okay so I am having some bad luck finding a good hose to water my plants and wash my truck. Seems to all kink really badly and one actually started splitting open within a month (craftsman brand).

Do you all have any recommendations on a good hose?

    Thank you.

I found one at HD that was advertised as kink-free. So far, so good.

White Cap sells hoses made from high pressure air hoses. They are pretty much bulletproof, but pricey

I am no help. I have not purchased a water house since 1993. I have some of the old black craftsman one and they have been bulletproof. But i am curious to see what is good today in case i just jinked myself.

Costco. If it sucks it's an easy, no hassle, return.

I've gotten a couple from there and have no complaints.

My next hose is going to be a flexzilla. Not sure how they are for kinking, but I'm going to take my chances, as their air hoses are the kitty's titties.

I have been using the Zero G for about 2 yrs. No complaints. Kink free and lightweight. Got mine from Lowe's . Wait till they gone on sale, there somewhat pricey .

Flexzilla, a premium black rubber hose, or Lee Valley Lifetime Hose.

My old Costco one was really bad, permanent kinks, hard and heavy, clearanced around $20 for a reason.

I've had good luck with the Apex Neverkink, my one at home is over 10 years old and I've got another at work that's 5 years. Both are outside year round.

All my hoses are craftsman. Did you get the 100% rubber one or the shitty green one? The all black rubber is the way to go man.

X2 or X3...Apex Neverkink Pro. I have a 100' on my front hose spool. Bought it in 2008. It was outdoors for 5 full years in PA, summer and winter. And has now been outdoors for going on 5 years in NC. No leaks, ends are perfect, no rotting, no cracks. I have a 50' on the back of my house that I bought when I moved down here, so that's 5 years old. These hoses spend all year outdoors, uncovered.

I found that rubber hoses works the best. They are soft and flexible so they are easily pulled in and out of the reel. I got these hose and reel from Lowe's. The kink free hoses I had were too stiff and they were really hard manage.

Yea man you gotta get the black heavy duty one that has a lifetime warranty. I haven’t had any issues with mine aside from my sister crossthreading a nozzle. Even then, I asked sears and they said just cut it off and bring it in and they will replace it.

You know the funny thing, I got the green one from Sears and when I took it back to return within a month...they said we'll probably just exchange it for another hose not give you a refund. I was pretty dumbfounded by that comment so I went to another register and the guy is like here's your refund.

Apparently little power goes to everyone's head, even at Sears.

    I just ordered a 100ft 5/8" zero g hose. $60 on Amazon and Wal-Mart. I'll give it a try.

I want to try the zero G. Is it easy to coil up and store after each use? I don’t leave my hose outside.
