Looking for advice on lift kits for my 2010 Tundra (DC RW 5.7 4x4). I just ordered a Expedition One rangemax front bumper which is advertised to weigh about 150lbs before adding a winch. I'm bouncing back and forth between the following kits:

    1. OME 613 - Reading alot of recommendations on this kit for 5.7 + heavy bumper setups but also alot of negative comments about it being overly firm/stiff. I'm actually leaning toward this option including the dakar leaf springs in the rear.
    2. ToyTecLifts BOSS kit - I'm seeing more mentions of a more comfortable ride with this setup but worry about the bumper weight negating the kits lift.
    3. Bilstein 6112/5160's + shackles - This one also looks very appealing, but again not sure how much lift I'm going to loose on this kit with a heavy bumper/winch.

I'm looking for a small lift in the 2.5-3 in range for the front and enough in the back to keep a 1-2" rake, I plan to keep my factory wheel/tire size (285/70r17 Rock Warrior). I can handle a little more stiffness over stock, but I'd prefer not to hear things rattling out of my dash constantly on poorly kept roads/highways. I also worry that the 2.5 front options might drop to 1.5 or 1 inch after a heavy bumper install. In the back, I have an ARE camper shell, roof top tent, and when camping have a decent amount of gear/weight in the bed of truck (500-800lbs maybe including the shell/tent). I'm not looking for a desert racer setup... I adhere to the "As slow as possible, As fast as necessary" style of off roading.

I'm open to other suggestions... my budget is around $1500... I could go up to 2k if the value is there (ICON stage 2?) but I'm a best bang for the buck guy more so then quality at any price. I want to keep the stock UCA's to save money if at all possible.

Just a few, more to come
Just to mention about the OME setup... I've got it on my Tundra with my 135lb bumper, no winch right now. Way too stiff IMO with the 135lbs, I'm about to switch the front out for some King coilovers that the wife got me for my Bday a couple weeks ago. The OME will be coming off and has about 12-15k miles on it if a used set interests you at all, might be better with a winch added. I have a solid 3" of lift, maybe a touch more with the setup.
For the rear look at some coachbuilder extended length shackles and some longer shocks to match

Edit: Actually I believe my OME are the 614

OME is an excellent option for heavy bumper. But with a 150 lb bumper, you may consider 614 instead of 613. I've seen guys with 250 lb bumpers with 613 and they say they are happy with their choice.

Looks like the winch cable choice can make a difference there... steel cable winches seem to run about 100lbs vs 60-70ish for synthetic. If I get a steel cable.. then I'd be pushing up around 250lbs.

I agree with everything these guys say. But also consider the BOSS is adjustable, so if you lose more height than you want? You can always adjust the shocks to where you want them. Plus they come in 650 and 700 lb options. Just my 2 cents.

I have a Gen 3 not Gen 2 but... I am running Toytec with the heavy Springs and an Expo One with winch. Almost too soft for my taste. I am set at 2 inches with no lift out back. Toytec was great to deal with.

Here it is before tires. I changed to a PRO skid plate and went with 295/65/18 Duratracs.

    That looks great
That looks great... that's just about what I'm looking for, maybe just a smidgen higher. It's hard to tell from the angle... is your winch running synthetic line?

It is synthetic. I used a Smittybuilt winch. Not really set up for foot forward but it worked. I relocated the control box to under my hood. Here is my build thread with a few pictures.
