This week I finished up my install for my 'Bulge Effects' light bar that I made. Now I'm on to real-world testing and hope it holds up to the weather and vibrations.

Repainted grill, painted tow hooks, Lamin-X fog covers, fog light relay mod, and upgraded to LED lighting.

Ordered a a dirty deeds 10" SS system, and also got a call from Victory about the LCA wheel problem (I haven't installed mine yet). Sent me a RMA and return label to get a free replacement right after. Can't complain about that customer service!

I removed my HID retrofits and added the 2019 TRD pro LED headlights and fog lights. Simple install on the fogs. I'm loving the changes!

When I finished my headlights and fogs, I got busy on my sliders. I took off my Amp power steps and went with the Victory 4x4 rock sliders. Conveniently, I left the lighting from the Amp steps. I'm digging the new look and the added protection for off road - these things are massively solid. I'm sure the added weight is only going to further decrease my MPG...

I’d rather not list. My wife might see it.
I didn’t notice any additional noise from before and after install. I’m a bit OCD so I didn’t leave anything to chance. I installed an auto noise deadening material in the cut out areas thinking it should at least help minimize any road noise produced from cutting the foam.

This is what I used :

Noico 80 mil 10 sqft car Sound deadening mat, Butyl Automotive Sound Deadener, Audio Noise Insulation and dampening

How's the light output difference between previous headlights and LED?

I do a lot of night driving on a 2 lane highway in the middle of nowhere, so I knew the stock headlights would not cut it. I had Lexus RX350 HID in my retrofits. 10x better than my stock 2017 headlights. The 2019 LED headlights have just as much output as the HIDs, maybe a shade more - but I like the beam pattern better. In hindsight, I wish I had not gone the retrofit route, though part of that was because I had serious quality problems and had to send them back 3 separate times before they finally got them right - and even then, they were far from perfect.

Did you remove the fog lights to add the Lamin-x? If so can you explain, I was thinking about doing this.

Installed Tech12Volt speakers in the dash, and drivers door. While I am at it I am sound deadening the whole cab. Using a combo of Kilmat and SoundSkins. Only the back wall and drivers door complete so far, but already can tell a difference.

Truck is in the shop. I have a rental, shitty little yaris. I do like the infotainment controls down near the armrest. Monitor looks weird and out of place though.

In hind sight for me I would have tagged those wood panels black. I can see my wood brackets through the door panels

Good tip I still have 3 doors to go, will do it for those and then debate if I want to rip the drivers door apart again.

@Razorwyre I'm in the same predicament. I will more than likely take my doors apart again to paint the adapters. I haven't noticed them since the initial look through the panel, but I know it's there...

Looks great. Did you use the combination of SoundSkins & Kilmat on purpose, or was it because you had both lying around?

Nothing big or tough to do, but I removed the TSS Offroad stickers from my bedsides. I love the clean look of the bedsides now.

Soundskins is fairly expensive, so I wanted something cheaper in areas where I am "doubling up" Along the bottom floor of the back wall I used the Kilmat because I hadn't budgeted for SoundSkin in that area and I wanted to make sure I had enough mat left over for all 4 doors.

The sound deadening is addicting, I put some in my tailgate as well. Truck is already a heavy beast, this sound deadening isn't helping but I am looking forward to a quiet ride!

The hardest part about removing the headliner is removing the 3 ceiling grab handles. The caps on those handles are on very tight. I damaged all of them so I will have to get new caps but they are cheap. Headliner is held on by 4 plastic tabs in the back and rubber trim all around. Make sure you have two people holding the headliner so you won’t crease it
