Hey everyone! Here is my build thread and my experiences to give back to the community since this forum has been so helpful for my build.
    94F2DB89-3630-410E-87DB-E1A7D3A0786A.jpg
I bought my first new Toyota back in 2008. It was a 2009 trd sport Tacoma prerunner. Loved the truck and it did everything I needed it to do for the time that I owned it. But it was only 2wd and access cab was getting tight. So since I paid it off it was time to start searching for something bigger. I originally wanted a new 2016 tacoma but the 16 tacomas were about the same darn price as the tundras so figured id go big so I have more room and towing capabilities.

So based on all my research I knew my best route was getting an SR5 and building from there. Ended up needing to special order a truck since they couldn’t find one around the area with exactly what I wanted. So heres what I ended up with.

    2016 Tundra SR5 Crewmax
    5.7l
    4x4
    Graphite interior
    -SR5 upgrade pkg
    -Spray bedliner
    -Entune premium

    -light bar behind grille

    -Magnaflow 30” muffler p/n #12388
    -change all bulbs to LEDs
    -CMC
-AFE pro dry s Drop in filter
    -custom console divider
    -BHLM
    -Switch-Pros 9100/ custom roof mount
    -ARB onboard air compressor CKMA12
    -LED rock light kit
    -RCI Offroad steel skidplate
    -Camburg UCA uniball
    -Stereo upgrade

Looks good! It seems you did all the work and installs yourself, awesome too!

I love that wheel, that color on the white looks good. Something other than black.

Great work bro, I like to see Tig welding vs mig, alot cleaner for sure. Looks like the aluminum divider needs a plasta dip bath, haha.

Thank you everyone!! I couldn't do it all myself without all the other detailed write ups and knowledge shared. So far I'm loving the truck. Besides the 11mpg

Also impressed with all the custom fab work completed by you. Really wish I had a welder and the skills because there are so many things that can be done.

Beautiful...what I admire the MOST is that you did it all by yourself. It's easy to pay a shop to do it but it's not modoing. Appreciate the pics as well.

Question: the young man in the pic is your son, right? Because if you're that young with that skill set....you are something else...

Thank you! I've always done all my own work on my race bikes and from the Tacoma and now the tundra. I just enjoy doing it myself and getting it done correctly. At least correct in my eyes! And these pix are all me. I'm 28 and have no kids at this time. I truly appreciate the compliment tho!

No I did not need to remove the UCA but I did have to just remove the single bolt attached to the spindle to give some clearance. Also had to have my brother help me push down on the LCA so I can slide the shock in. That's about it! There's some good write ups around in this forum and a few basic YouTube videos that can help! Good luck!

As far as I know... no issues with the alignment. The shop was able to get the numbers within spec and the truck drives better than stock so I'm happy.
I'm debating adding an aftermarket UCA and cranking the coil up almost another inch so I will do another alignment after that someday.

Thank you! I couldn't stand the little light shake I was seeing when I had the lightbar ON. So simple but effective fix!
Next plans are something with my headlights! Can't stand the shiny chrome. So either $10 in spray paint and go for the BHLM. Or just save up some $$ and get the spyder headlights cuz those are clean looking also! I really like having the headlight adjuster tho.
