Rustoleum translucent paint on 3rd brake light. Was busy buying a replacement bulb and the paint was there so I figured why not. Comes out shiny without clear unlike what I hear about VHT. I went a tad too dark at four coats. After #3 I got impatient as I am prone to do and put a mark in it before dry so I sprayed a bit more to cover it. It’s At the upper limits of the darkness level I could live with for now. If it were any darker I’d probably pick up a different aftermarket lense or start over with another factory one.

    Thanks Prostar.

Took the new setup on a overnighter down by the boarder last night with some guys from my church. Had a great time and, other than the 27 degree low, the new sleeping quarters were awesome. Very comfy.

Beautiful and very functional. Well done!
I had a carpeted bench/bed setup in a 79 Chevy that took an hour to take apart and get out. That was a pain - 5 mins is a much better plan.

Popped a tailgate dent, added some grip tape to augment the almost non existant tailgate cap to grab, new tailgate handle. Got wild and did grip tape steps too.

Completed the fold down rear seats mod yesterday. I went with bending the U-Bolts down instead of cutting the brackets. Worked like a champ, took less than an hour to do.

Interesting, Have not seen or heard of this method.
Do the seats fold back to same position? Seems they may not go back as far. Are the seats still tight?
Bend u-bolts in place? or take them out? How did you bend?

    2" Leveling Kit
The leveling kit was on the truck when I bought it. I measured the spacer in the front. It measures 2 inches, but I've heard the measurement is slightly less than the actual lift. So I'm guessing it's about a 2.5 inch leveling lift in the front.

Was feeling my recently renovated cap was looking a little naked.

Maybe @Bob could send me the "official" .com decal? Maybe in a dark red?

I did what "rubberdown" suggested on page 3, seats fold down and back up into position, neat trick for extra storage : https://www.tundras.com/threads/dc-fold-down-rear-seats.699/page-3

I bent them in place. I used a 1/2 socket extension 12" to get the initial bend started and then beat it with a old flip flop (for padding) and hammer to get it into position. If you look closely at my pics you can see red dots beside the u bolt. I roughly beat it down an inch.

Not sure when they were installed in the truck but this leather was installed in 2007 so assuming they are original, awesome! They're so much hotter than any OEM Toyota/Lexus seat I've sat in. Think like VW/Audi hot.

If I ever bought a new truck with non-heated cloth I'd do the aftermarket seat heater panels and leather covers first thing. I love it.
