I have a 2008 Superwhite double cab that I love. Over the last year or so I have decided to fix it up in an effort to give it that more aggressive look. To date I have done the following....

Chrome stock bumpers powder coated black.
Chrome grille surround changed to black.
    De Badged all chrome badges
Lifted 1 in in rear and 3 in the front.
Added Bilstein 5100's to front and rear.
    Added 305-65-r17 BFG KO2's
Replaced chrome wheels with 17" Method racing black racing wheels
Added black oem style fender flares
Added Alpine mini amp and powered sub in order to keep factory look of dash
Added Yakima rack and ski mount to ARE SUV style topper
    Added PIAA fog lights
Added 3 13" offload lights (integrated into grille)
Added 4" oval nerf bars (black)
Added black trim to head and tail lights

I love what I have chosen and my 18 year old neighbor loves it.
I still don't think it looks very aggressive. It still doesn't look like some of your bad ass tundras....What can I do/add to beef it up? I want that look!

Change the grill surround to white
Wheels looked a little tucked in
    ARB tent or something similar
    Change headlights to Spyder

I concur.. I would also say ditch the hood shield, but that's just me. I think an aftermarket bumper would do alot as well!

Sean266 mentioned an "ARB tent or something similar"

    What is that?

I do not know the offset of these wheels....without changing them, my only option to "untuck" the wheels is to use spacers correct?

I have read the spacer forum, seems like mixed results and perhaps some safety issues. Will they rub more?

I've put over 600 miles on 2" spacers, they are both hub and wheel centric. I was told to use red loctite and torque them properly, then not to worry about them again. So far so good, but I realize 600 miles isn't much for something like that.

I like the idea of rear lights and bumpers....any thing else I can do with the stance?

Yup, 32s - in my opinion they're the perfect size for my minor lift. I'll be swapping out my 2" front spacers for a 3/1 tomorrow, using FBG coilovers and Bilstein 5100's in the rear.

The wider tire goes really far toward achieving that aggressive stance, imo. I say put some moderate, quality spacers on and see if you like them.

I agree, mine are actually 32.6. Looks cool...just want a more aggressive stance.

I did the 3/1 last year. Went with Bilstein 5100's instead of coil overs. It looks and drives better. Wanted small lift so it still fit in garage. I do however, like the moderate lift with 35's

What does a quality set of say 1" spacers go for? Installed?

Not sure about the install, but Bora, Spidertrax, and G2 are all good brands and will all run you about $100 per pair for the parts.

1.25" is the standard size. That is the size I would reccommend. Backslider is right, about $100 per pair.

I think there's too much black. Lose the bug deflector. And changing the bumper ends and fender flares to white would help a lot. The black flares are kinda hiding the wheels. Even if you got wheel spacers it wouldn't show. Needs more contrast between the wheels and body.

I agree with the flares and the grill surround that Sean said. Color matched white for these two items will clean up the look a lot a lot a lot. Bug deflector can be kept on if the grill surround is white.
