Sweet. Thought of doing it in white and red on the beveled part. One of these days.

I agree, the black/white in the tails look great with your color scheme.

Mounted my CVT 55" standard awning today to the rear of the custom aluminum bed rack. Had to come up with a sturdy solution for mounting that'll handle rough offroad abuse hopefully.

And a bonus shot of my tie down system in my bed..

Tie down game is strong. There are 6 heavy duty eye rings on the floor along with 4 additional D-rings on the sides to coexist with the factory anchor points. The floor rings' bolts themselves are removable if I need to load something big and flat onto the bed.

Glad to see you figured it out. really isn't much of an issue once you realize you just need to use the OEM wiring. Your finished look is pretty awesome looking! At first I wasn't sure if I was gonna be happy with these, but they grew on me as soon as I had mine wired in.

Our local Line-X shop ordered them up for me. They are the in-channels from EGR.
Been on now for a week or two, with no issue. Windows been down doing highway speed for about 3 hours as we took the Tundra up camping and had no noticeable sounds or distractions due to them.
When I rest my arm out the window, due to the large Tundra size I can't place my hand up on the edge of the window, but with the visor I can rest my hand on them!

    Steve,

I like how the 921's fill in the area within the lens that the 194/168 T10's seem to miss. Looks like I'm gonna have to make the switch. Which license plate LEDs did you go with?

Finally got around to removing the front sway bar. I ran without sway bars front and rear on my last truck (FJ Cruiser) and it performed great offroad and was even more fun on the streets. Have to maximize offroad articulation wherever possible. I'll need to add limit straps eventually to prevent popping CV axles though.

Pluto looks mean while toothless. Took off the OEM bumper cover because my new aftermarket bumper should be arriving any day now. So anxious to get it installed with my new winch. I also took off the corner trim under the headlights because they needed trimming to clear the tires when tucked and to add some LED marker lights.

Swapped out the bulbs on both the front map lights and rear dome lights for some Super Bright LEDs in natural white (part code is "WLED-NWHP5"). It totally changes the inside of the truck at night while not being too bright from the outside thanks to the OEM and aftermarket window tints plus smoked window visors.

Its amazing how some of the cheaper mods can really help the look of our trucks

I also added a stubby antenna, reception wasn't great but none the less it was more a mod for the look. Plus most of the time I'm listening to Internet or satellite radio.
First Time ever using plasti dip, so I started small, real small :) did the 4x4 emblem flat black with about 8 coats lol and came out good. Now I think I'm less intimated doing the mirror caps and door handle.
    Wish me luck!!!image.jpgimage.jpg

I taped a box around the emblem leaving about a inch from each side, then tape a sheet of newspaper on each side to pervent overspray. Sprayed about 8 coats and it peeled off perfectly. I suggest using blue painters tape though, all I had was masking tape and it left the sticky residue after peeling it off. I also used a tooth pick to get the dip out of the middle of the 4's, just pick at it then when you get under it spin the toothpick and the dip comes right off. image.jpg

thanks bro! Yeah my biggest question was how you were able to get it out between the emblem. Seemed like it could be a pain in the ass. I'll give it a shot!

No prob when you get under it with the tooth pick just twist the dip around the tooth pick and it comes off wrapped around the tip. Just make sure you put a lot of coats so it's thick enough to do so.

image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg Early Saturday morning chrome delete, TRD pro grill. Thanks @TRDSparks !!!!

Install was incredibly easy, especially from links to videos found on this site. One small caveat, the hood bulge came with a scratch underneath the front lip, can see it when hood is open, luckily not on an outer edge.
