If that's the case this may be the reason why everything looks messed up. Let me go out to my truck and take a picture of it. I want to make sure I didn't tell you wrong.

20190220_123510.jpg my apologies. The cup should be facing down .you can barely see it. If you zoom in you can see the high beam chip and then to the left you can see the cup facing downwards. I'm a dumb@$$

I have the same bulbs in mine (Dealer installed them, long story) and I'm thinking mine are not in right also. They are not near as bright as I would have thought. The high beam is terrible.

Thanks for the help, I looked and had them in upside down. Pulled everything apart switched the bulbs around and now the patter is much better. Now on to new fogs

Thanks again for all the help.

So you guys are liking the Auxbeams?
I had the Lasfit in my tundra for a few days, hated them, light scatter everywhere. Took them out and went with a brighter halogen. But I still want led’s.

Yes I like them a lot. ive had mine in for 3 months now and they've been great. I have them in the headlights and fogs. No issues and the best thing I like about them are fanless. Only thing I felt I needed to do was adjust the headlights down one click of the wheel and it was perfect from there. Foglight took me 10 min to do both. You can't beat the price for the performance of these.

Does the Canbus wiring harness adapter need to be purchased in order for the Auxbeam NF-S1 bulbs to work properly?

Was not required for me when I installed them into the 2019 OEM headlamps with halogen headlights and LED DRL. I don't know how much difference there is in the 2019 halogen headlights and the 2014-2017 halogen headlamps. However, the construction of the NF-S1 appears to be very similar to the halogen bulbs that I removed. I thought that the canbus stuff was mainly for flashing lights like turn signals.

Ive done so much reading on LEDs and new housings are at the moment in the budget since wheels and tires and coming in this week, I just hate yellow looking halogens and want a cleaner look. But since it's a pain in the ass to get to the headlights, I wanted to make sure I wasnt going to have errors and have to take the grill back off to install an adapter. I might just order the adapter just to have them, and see how it goes!

Just installed the SuperNova v.4 LED fogs (9006) for 1st Gen and they are awesome. Plug and play fanless. Way brighter and a nice beam pattern even in the OEM reflector housing. Very good investment. May do the headlamps next, but leary of the LED fans and daytime running/high-low beam single bulb set up that is an 02’ thing.

    You don't need a canbus

New to the forum and not sure if I'm doing this correctly. TundraTSS19 did you get the H11 for the headlight and then H16 for the fog lights? Thats what Amazon is saying I need. I have the same Tundra as you.

H4 for the headlights and H11 for the foglights. I know I've provided links to these bulbs a few times.

I love the auxbeam light output and beam pattern. But don't care for the blue tint. Are there any other good quality led h4 bulbs that are closer to white?

Blue tint? They're 5000k. That's pure white. You must be seeing things.

No you were right. My mistake. It is 6000k. I don't notice a blue tint though

Yeah no worries. It could even be my phone screen showing more blue than they actually are. I had the cheaper hikari LEDs on my last car and they were 6.5k and too blue for my taste. But I do know that differ t brands are different colors regardless of the color they claim to be.

Hate to dig up an old thread but it may help someone in the future. Either I misunderstood or didn’t understand the orientation of the bulb. The “cup” needs to be at the bottom of the bulb when installing, meaning the cup is open towards the top as in this picture. I just finished pulling everything apart to turn the bulbs around. This made the auxbeam logo face the passenger side for both lights.

If you look at the picture and zoom in, you can see the cup is on the bottom.

No. You just install it with the cup on the bottom. Simple as that and no need to over think it
