Can you guys tell me what my options are for headlights (aftermarket or stock from another package), that have the LED strips or the halo surround?

I'm not really looking for better "performance" per se, but if that's a by-product, I'm okay with that. I simply like the look of the white light strips that you see on Lexus, Denali's, etc, for their DRL's. I don't really want to spend $800 or $1000 either. That's why I mentioned that if the 1794 or Pro or some other platform had them stock, I could watch for them to come up for sale as well.

1794 does have them stock - its the only model that does.

Spyder is a popular option around here too.

I never would have thought this is a good option but I saw a picture from another member on here and it ooked good. He had the cheap stick on LED strips from AutoZone that are about $10 stuck under the headlights, they are very thin and he wired them in as DRL's. Those are easy because you don't have to open your headlights to add them, also cheap.

I think I've seen the Spyder brand. Are they the ones that are in the $800 range?

@eledobleu also does custom headlight work. If you are going to pay for new headlights, he may be a better option if you aren't up for doing it yourself.

Haha MotoTundra, that was me. Yes that was a cheap upgrade and the leds were quite bright.

53flattie, I put led strips under mine and they looked good imop. Here's a couple of pics70f767af184806af77d5226f28991a67_e0fd93ac8aec6550f7c61fb68ebdb2db39c9789c.jpga8033ca928987d0a77edd5af2edfe84a_e85b10967063fa2875764d2a8da6cbbcc0216e73.jpg If you want halos, then I would personally go with a retrofit. I got the led strips from superbrightleds.com, you can cut to fit. They have 3m tape on the back. I hooked mine up via fuse tap into my ign fuse. Hope this helps

You can get a "Budget Retrofit installed with an LED strip (similar to 1794/Platinum)".

Mini D2S Budget Retrofit with an LED strip is $470 Total plus shipping. Your lights will also be super bright.
Mini H1 Budget Retrofit with an LED strip is $420 Total plus shipping.

    Read about them here https://www.tundras.com/threads/introducing-budget-retrofits-by-eledobleu.6773/

Heres some pictures of what the LED strip/retrofit would look like.

Depends on which projectors you choose. Like in the quote, the budget systems with led strips are $420 and $470. (doesnt include plug n play harness)

The new mini D2S 4.0 projector with an led strip is $690 (no plug n play harness).
You can choose any color scheme (+$35 for color matched), and any shroud (extra $$ for Panamera DRL Shrouds).
Yes the LED can be switchbacks
