I have 275/70/18 KO2's on +18 offset and mine don't rub at all. I'm stock height I don't even have a leveling kit on yet. All I did was take the mud flaps off the front. Wonder why mine don't rub.

I have no clue. It could be slight differences in the tire or possibly where the tires meet the well without the lift. IDK.

Stock TRD PRO suspension (2016 - pre Fox) 285/70/R18 Toyo OC MTs method mesh 306. I did rub on the front plastic, had to push and trim.

Looks good. How much do you want for your factory wheels?

A few better pics and initial review...

The 17 inch combo has done exactly what I was hoping. The extra sidewall provides more of a cushion, making for a better ride. It's not mushy, it just soaks up the bumps and holes better. It has also tamed down the tendency of the Tundra to be "jumpy" in the rear over high speed bumps. Oh, it also happens to look awesome...

The tires are load range C, which was another reason I wanted 17s, you can't get KO2s in a C rating for any 18 inch size tire that's close to a fit for stock suspension. I'm currently running 38 lbs in the front and 36 in the rear. I'll probably play with the pressures a bit, but they seem good for now.

From a noise perspective, they may be just slightly louder than the michelin ltx A/T2 car tires that came on it from the factory. There certainly is no loud whine or drone like you get from some of the rougher A/T treads I've had in the past.

On the wheel side of things, the Icons look sharp, and the +25mm offset is absolutely perfect. The rears sit perfectly level with the fenders, and the fronts stick out just ever so slightly, you can see just a bit of the outside-most tread block.

So to summarize, I couldn't be happier with this setup. And now to the pics. Please overlook the muddy wheel wells, I got it packed up a little yesterday on an excursion through a wet field. I didn't get a chance to spray they out until after dark tonight.

This has definitely peaked my interest in 17's instead of getting some trd Offroad wheels. Do you have any rubbing at all and have you noticed any mpg loss?

No rubbing at all, though I removed the front flaps prior to the installation, partially because from what others have posted I thought they might rub, but mostly because they look stupid and serve no purpose I can discern. But definitely nowhere near cab mounts, fender liners, or anything like that. Keep in mind, these tires are only about a half inch larger than factory.

Yeah, I'm running 285/55r20's now, I did the comparison chart on Tacoma world and the 285/70 is just a smidge taller than what I'm running now. Plus, I've been thinking about doing a 1/2" coach builder shims on each side. Does that size BFG ko2's have white letters on the other side?

The ones I got do not have a white letter side. But it seems like BFG has a lot of different model numbers in the same size and same load rating, so they might have one that does have white letters.

I just checked, load range c does not have white letters, but load range E does. About $16 more per tire for the E's.

That sounds about right for an E. If you really want white letters, E rated BFGs will do you right. I ran them on my last couple trucks and they were fine.

I'm running them now. I won't run nothing but BFG'S. My wife's Tahoe has them, my oldest son's Tacoma has them.

Now there is no rub. Drove the side up on a curb and tested. No rubbing.

Stupid question. If the hub size changed by half mm in 2014, does that mean the gen 3 wheels are not true hub centric on gen 2 models?

I’m new to this forum and I have a wheel tire setup question. I have a 2014 Tundra with the Xsp-x package. It has Ultra racing 20x9 wheels with +30 offset and 285/55/20 BFG A/Ts. I have added Billstein 5100s on the highest setting in the front to level it. I want to put a set of Nitto Ridge Grapplers on it. Anyone running this setup? I was thinking 35/12.5/20. Will it fit?
