I know I’ve seen some renderings but does anyone know if Toyota plans and creating the single cab workhorse?

    Uh, I'm pretty sure they don't make a single-cab 3rd gen.

I would do a trade in if it’s one giant door on both sides

Not likely. The market rules. Everybody (but me) wants a darn school bus.;)

    No.
And, we just turned out double cab into a single cab by removing the rear seating. I had thought an 8’ bed would be a good idea, but so far we’ve been very satisfied with the 6.5’ bed.

Never be a single cab again unless they want in the commercial world. Toyotas truck customer base doesn’t want single cabs.

I’m surprised but GMC has a beautiful single cab in their fleet models with a straight 6 turbo diesel. Gets same hp and tq as my ‘88 12HT with 20 lbs boost. But I’m a bit cheap? Just can’t fork out $70K+ for a truck
