If you had a leak, and drained the entire system, or a pump failure etc. The truck would just sit on the bump stops, which are a chunk of rubber that act as a stiff spring. You would be able to drive to the dealer just fine.

The auto level air system has been amazing for me. I am not going to discuss how much weight I have put in the bed combined with large tongue weights, but the air system handles it VERY well.

You could... but I would wager that given X number of miles, the number of air suspension failures would be magnitudes greater than a traditional coil or leaf spring suspension on passenger vehicles.

If the air bags supplemented a coil spring/leaf spring setup, you wouldn't need to worry about the truck riding around on its bump stops. Also, it's a comical sight on the road when you see a vehicle with a failed air suspension.

your taking a pretty pessimistic view here, the sky could also fall.

I like the way it is now, it rides awesome in combo with AVS, tows awesome, hauls awesome, toyota makes stuff that lasts, Im not worried about it , if I buy another tundra in the future, it will have to have this system or I wont buy it, just like this time.

It's listed at 5724lb dry, with a GVWR of 7600lb. I haven't weighed it loaded. I do have a tongue weight scale, and loaded at it's max (full water tanks, etc.) it has 900lb of tongue weight. I'm quite careful how I load it and how much stuff I put in it, so figure the GVWR is pretty close to the heaviest I'll ever have it. I had a '19 Ram 1500 and a '18 Ram 2500 gas. I like the Tundra the best for towing this trailer. We go out about 6 times per year. Usually only one of those trips is over 3 hours 1 way. If I towed more, or longer distances I would get a diesel. I get a pretty consistent 10mpg (I live in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, flat land would probably be a little better). That's about exactly what I got in the Ram trucks as well.

Airlift Air bags with compressor cured it for me.

You guys were saying? Looks like the rear of this truck is "hella sagging" - almost like the Carolina Squat.

kinda a piss poor example trying to prove a point

he has a 3” shitty lift is not oem and said “ I assume the tongue weight is”

if you don’t like it, don’t buy it , what’s the point of trying to say it’s shit to those of us who have it, especially with stupid examples
