I'm about to tackle the latest project of converting the manual slider to a power slider. I have a few questions and also requesting a few pictures from those that have the sliding window. My concern is the window track itself as I am attempting to try this without replacing the main fixed window. Below are pics of the track itself, and what I am thinking might work, but am in need of pics to assist. @CharlestonJoe @Mw4904

I would love to have a sliding rear window on my DC. I never open it just because you have to manually do it.......

I removed the rear seats from my DC. I'll take pictures when I get home if none are provided by then.

@texasrho83 It's looking like it might take some modification to work. I'm waiting for pics for comparison to see what I'm looking at. :fingerscrossed:

Comparing your pics to mine, Is it looking like I might have to change the main window as well? Can you also post pics of the cable routing from the motor and regulator to the window?

I don't think so. You have the components on the driver side (except the cable), it just looks like you're missing the passenger side components.

The 3rd pic posted is one from the forum from someone that had a broken cable. It was a reference to see if I can modify to install the stopper. Which passenger side components? I can post the diagram of what I bought.

So do you have the passenger side track? I see you have the driver side track here:

Yes I have it. There aren't any slots or anything for the cable to go into it though.

Looking at your pic, I have 2 of the stoppers, but I don't have the other piece on each end.

That's the part that holds the end of the cable sleeve before the inner wire is exposed.

I don't think they are part of the regulator cable. I thought the 2 ends of the cable attach to the bottom of the window. I'm lost now lol.

I wonder if I have to change the whole window. I don't see those 2 pieces anywhere. I don't know if they would even come with the window.

Have you checked with your parts counter guy? Seems they would come with the center window or the cables themselves. Also ridiculous the truck doesn't come stock with this regardless of trim. Another cut corners where they can Toyota move.

I have the stoppers but not those 2 pieces at the very end. I don't see them in the parts breakdown either. I'm wondering if they are part of the track with the main window. They are definitely not with the regulator cable.

Man that's a bummer. I would be surprised if the main window tracks are different just for those 2 pieces, Toyota usually doesn't work like that.

    I agree.
CR Laurence makes or made a power slider but I could never confirm that it would fit a Gen 2.5 2014+..
CRL 2007+ Toyota Tundra "Perfect Fit" POWR-Slider - Solar Glass | CRL (crlaurence.com)

    EPC1565S (sgawinc.com)
With shipping it costs around $1k, and then have to pay to get installed.

CRL "Perfect Fit" POWR-Slider for 2007+ Toyota Tundra - Screen Door Hardware - Amazon.com

Also I never found the OEM power slider available from Toyota parts..

    Good luck @Tundra234

Are you sure it's not part of the center glass trim ( see end of bottom glass trim)

It looks like the cable hooks in there

Looking at Cruzers pics, it looks like a separate piece at the end of the track unless I'm missing something because I don't see the edge of the window in the last pic that he posted.

I don't have the window in hand but I'm wondering if that lower piece moves back and forth. It sure looks like the cable clips into the lower trim on the back window.

That piece is attached to the window and the cable ends slip in. The pieces on the ends of the track hold the cable shroud itself.

Ok I got ya. Well if they are not in any of the pieces you have then you may have to go see the parts guy and ask. Just weird they would not come with what you have ordered. Good luck! Hope you can get it done. Please do a write up so we can copy you.
