The catch, well the power button/knob is broken. It has no "spring" and doesn't reset. I've tried a lot of things to fix the knob, no luck. It's going to need a electronics specialist to replace. When the knob is at just the right setting, it will work and you can control it from the steering wheel. Otherwise it just keeps re-booting.

I was going to throw it out but someone may have a use for it.

Did you put an aftermarket unit in ? I’ve been telling myself I don’t need an Alpine unit yet I keep looking at the Trail Grid Pro bundles. ‍♂️
