I bought her a week ago but have been to busy to post pictures yet. 2014 Double cab with 11,100 miles. I love it. The power is incredible.

My first project will be getting a spray in bed liner and under seat storage. It baffles me that my 16 year old Tundra had both of these things from the factory but the new ones don't.

On a side note, I understand that the new trucks run synthetic oil that will last 5k miles, mobil 1 0w20 claims to be good for 15k miles. Can anyone clear this up for me, I'd rather error on the side of caution but don't want to throw money away either.

Very nice! What's in the works after the bed liner and underseat storage?

I'm not sure yet, thinking about a TRD PRO grill and hood bulge. Rail system and bed divider. It's not a spicy build but will be what I need it to be.

No, I don't believe it has the flex fuel engine, my gas cap says no more than 10% ethanol. I'm just unfamiliar with this vehicle, need to read owners manual.

Welcome from CO. Some folks go up to 10K on M-1. Check your dipstick. If it's clear, good. Starting to be not be clear= Change.

    Good looking truck.
May I suggest you check out bedrug?
I got a new 2016 and was considered spray in the bed. However, after a few members suggested bedrug and I bought it and very happy with it. Easy install. You can sleep in it if needed :)

I'll look into it, does it hold water when it rains? I feel like it would be a pain to haul mulch and gravel with. Do you just vacuum it?

It's not like traditional rug. I live in Seattle area and it's raining a lot. I found it's very dry a couple hours after the rains. Don't know how they made it so well.

I also haul bark dust the other day and just sprayed water afterward.

    Reasons I went with bedrug:
For the price of the sprayed bedrug, I can get a bedrug and a roll up bed cover and left the painting on the bed untouched. Also, my boys can sleep in it when we go fishing or camping.

Welcome to the forum, nice looking truck. I do like that bedrug, that is cool. My truck has a toyota bedliner already so don't really need this right now but it does look cool.

I run full synthetic Amsoil, 7500 mile oil change. I am right there talking with and watching the tech change my oil, it's just about as clean as it was going in. Great product

I agree that the Bedrug mat works well with the spray in bed liner. Bedrug makes a complete bed liner and mats for the bed and tail gate. The mats are also specifically designed to work without any liner, a drop in liner or spray in liner - basically, they have different porous / slotted backing. I mention that the backing is porous in that it is designed to allow or promote water flowing through. Yes, the material is made of recycled plastic as well, so there is very little absorption. I had a complete Bedrug liner in my last truck and hauled all kinds of stuff and it cleaned up very easily with vacuum or hose. My new Tundra has a spray in liner which is quite abrasive; the Bedrug mats complement it very well.

And yes, my old knees appreciate the Bedrug very much!
