I have 265/70/r17 KO2 on my stock 2wd tundra with no lift and saggy suspension. you would really have to have blown suspension to not fit those.

What's up all? Finally got a first gen tundra a couple months ago. 1st pic is what it looked like the day I bought it, second/third are current. Figured I'd post both since they're both non-tundra OEM wheels. I love this truck so far. Got the Taco wheels with stock tires for $450 and sold the tires for $400. As you'll notice, also had to level it with 5100's and OME 2884's.

I really hope so. Way back around 1996, before black was a thing, i bought a set of black wheels to use on my shiny all black jeep CJ7. As soon as they were mounted i was like, NOPE. And the wheels i bought were brand new $35 steel wheels. I can't comprehend why anyone would spend over $200 for a black colored aluminum rim. Reason being is that they look exactly, and i mean exactly like inexpensive aftermarket wintertime snow wheels from 15' away...and that's when the vehicle is at a standstill.

Black on black (black steelies on black tires) is historically what came on the cheapest of cheap vehicles BITD (ultra base model/work truck) and was also standard for spare wheels and trailers, so I find it hilarious it ever became and apparently still is super trendy. But I usually keep my mouth shut because some trucks like @KNABORES look pretty good with it, though it’s rare. I find it especially bad if the truck is a “fleet” color like white, because that’s cliche for city and similar cheap low-end fleet vehicles up to a couple decades ago before they started painting steelies silver for you. I think maybe it makes the most sense on a black truck?

At least on cars they’d offer you hubcaps to put on the black steelies so it looked not-so-low-end.

Bleached white will get ‘em white and keep ‘em white, and get road grime off super easy. I’ve used it forever. Also gets the blue off the tire STAT when you roll away.

I've had 1.25" spidertrax installed for a few thousand miles now. I feel like they added a small amount of vibration, and I've read elsewhere that they can amplify slightly unbalanced wheels that you wouldn't have felt without the spacers.

I get a random shake where certain mornings on my way to work, I get a steering wheel shake like my wheels are out of balance. But then other mornings the truck rides fine. IDK if it's the spacers or what, but it doesn't happen frequently enough for me to do more about it.

Looks good! How did you go about doing the surface prep before the paint? Do you have to put an intermediate coat (primer) on them after surface prep?

Man you just described my truck to a T. I never even considered it to be a spacer thing. Like you though it doesn't do it enough to really feel like it's worth messing with.

+1 exact same deal on 1" KSP hub centric spacers. Wheels are -12mm but some days it feels like a little worse than other days
