Not that I'm aware of. I do know Toyota had something concerning the 4.7 non vvti vs. Vvti supercharged. Cant remember though.

Either get a new hose as @reywcms suggested or if room cut 1/2 inch off the end and clean up the fitting as it probably got buggered up somehow.

Not in particular. I use a tweaked version of the TRD VVTI tables, and seen a bunch of other setups from other people.

Finally back from my work trip. Thanks to @TurboKits.com for the awesome fuel regulator. Plenty of room with it on the Whipple. Only redid the fuel line bracket to move the line over. Setting is at stock pressure for now since this thing is super rich and we get time for the retune with @snivilous

Looks good, tons of room with the Whipple...I'm jealous, I've been working on fuel stuff too...I was switching over to the XAT fuel rails while switching over to the Five-0 injectors and running into one issue after another
The XAT fuel rails have 8AN o-ring to 8AN male end fittings that my vibrant hose end fittings didn't jive with (front 180 fittings interfered with the valve cover and couldn't get them threaded on, rear 45 fitting on passenger side interfered with the wiring harness and also couldn't get it threaded on), so I ordered 8AN o-ring hose end fittings from Racetronix. I finally got everything sorted and made new equal-length lines using PTFE hose, and the rear bolt that holds down the passenger rail barely interferes with the fitting...so now I get to run to ACE hardware to see if they have a button head screw that will give me the clearance I need.

I didn't realize how much room you had with the Whipple to the intake. I knew there was room but wow! Same on drivers? With a competent welder you can have some ports added for extra go juice.

Driver side is a little cluttered just due to the vacuum lines but yes still narrow and clearance for things. Much easier to work on than the 1.9 lol.

Guess I can probably get rid of this RCF throttle body I have lying around lol. Let me know if anyone's interested before I post to the rest of forum. I don't forsee a need to keep it since we're not far off and no issues with the convertor.

I found some M8x1.25x65mm at ACE, but I have no way to tighten the back one, it allows the fitting to sit closer to where I want it, but still touches...

    upload_2024-5-10_15-50-24.jpg

I have these screws below coming on Sunday, I should be able to use an allen drive from above to tighten them, and should help with the clearance as well.

Already checked them out my man, they are my go-to for fasteners if I can't find them locally...but they can't deliver until Monday, and I have to back up and running before then. Hoping Amazon comes through.

Technically, 3 out of 4 are fully tightened, and the injectors are zip-tied to the rail, so I could probably run it as is. I still need to adjust my feed and return lines from the new Y-blocks and test for leaks though.

I'm with you on that front, got the 84mm and a 79mm. Thev GM95mm been running well since November.
So with the lambda and 103mm unit your shifting and throttle response was normal?

No not normal but not near as bad as I would've thought. Tuning should clear it right up. I thought I wouldn't even be able to parallel park etc just an example on me thinking how far off it'd be. Shifting needs dialing in like you I let off the gas slightly and all is fine

Lol, ya, it would've been a lot easier with more room, in hindsight, removing the supercharger would have been the way to go. I managed to get it tight using a shorty wrench, I had to lift up on the rail and turn the bolt one flat at a time...took for freakin' ever, but it's tight. All 4 bolts are tightened and the lines are attached and tightened up to the y-blocks, so that should be the hard part out of the way.

Getting ready to install a engine oil temp gauge at filter. Curious if anyone has any temp ranges. I'll do a couple hard runs and see where it's at. Wanted to see where its at before installing an engine oil cooler.
I do have an e-fan instead of the mechanical one. Not sure if it makes any difference but engine temps have always been normal.

Only temp reading I have gotten are from my OBD MX app. From what I have read, we dont have a temp oil sensor, so a calculation is used to show oil temp. To me it's useless. I have trans temp, trans T/C temp, engine temp and oil temp. The oil temp was always the same as the engine temp. They actually went up and down the same degrees and was no more than 1-2* difference. Trans temp is usually around 190* or below and engine temp 195 up to 203. Yesterday it was 100* here. Engine got to 203*, trans 191*, IAT got to 152* stuck in traffic, backed down to 10*+/- above ambient once I got on the highway.

The XAT rails are 8AN vs ProSpeed's 6AN, although I think you can swap fittings to make ProSpeed 8AN I don't believe the rail is large enough. Don't quote me on that though, as I haven't opened mine up...yet. I also like the design of the XAT, that it has the injector tab positioning that the stock had, and it doesn't have PROSPEED stamped all over it.

I've been having issues with AFR differences between my banks, so swapping injectors was going to be my next course of troubleshooting, but I already had cleaned/tested injectors ready to install and the XAT rails, so I decided to make my feed/return lines equal length at the same time and reduce any variables in my control. I also have a tendency to over-complicate things, so don't take anything I do as necessity for supercharging your truck.

Now that I've swapped rails and engine bay lines, my ProSpeed fuel system (minus pump) will be up for sale soon, so I can recoup enough money for like 3 or 4 of the fittings I bought
