Don’t even get me started about that rear window visor.

You noticed it was an exterior mount, converted to mount in-channel.

I removed it because I was purchasing a hard folding cover (the kind that can rest on the cab when fully open) I was afraid the visor would hit the cover, and I listed it for sale.
Had I known the way the cover rests again the cab, I would have kept it. Wouldn’t have touched it.

Long story short, that visor is back on my list and I will be reinstalling one down the road.

See i totally forgot about that cause I used to have a trifold that would have hit it when up (or I assumed it would hit) but I now have a retractable so that's not a concern. If there's a thread on modifying it let me know, or please post up more info on how you make it work when you get the replacement. It definitely looked sleek once you had it trimmed.

I just removed the tape, stuck it in channel and put some marks in it with a sharpie. Some painters tape lines and I was able to cut it.

Took advantage of the overcast weather today.

Perfect conditions for applying duracoat to the newly mounted tires.

Prep is key with this product, scrub until the brown foam is no longer present.

    Round 3:

Let dry, I cut my grass in the meantime.

    Apply dressing:

Final result (2 coats, dry to touch in 10 minutes):

Can not compare to the original:

For anyone wondering, under normal driving conditions and weather, they will most likely not need to be touched up for approximately 3-4 months.

Added a small washer under the camera bracket.

Now the display’s center hash line is centered to the hitch receiver.

Let me know if you find stock of the rear visor/rain guard anywhere. I'm having no luck and Amazon said they have no idea. I keep finding sellers for AVS but have not been able to find a way to contact them besides Facebook, which I don't have.

Edit: I sent an email to AVS thru the Realtruck website. We will see

So I found the part number

    AVS 93830

but it looks like it may be discontinued. I’m going to search on eBay and see what I can find.

@biebs96 so AVS finally got back to me. Its officially discontinued and they have none, but they elevated my request to potentially make it again. The said their wasn't as much demand so thats why they stopped making it. I asked for a reference number or something I could share with other interested parties. Maybe we can get them to make it in-channel and more narrow so we don't have to modify :fingerscrossed:
