Credit scores are a joke. It’s a system that you can’t see the rules for, only the items to be considered. Doesn’t matter if you always make your payments, maybe you use your credit too much? Or not enough? Or inquired about financing options for a prospective purchase? From more than one source? All viewed negatively by the reporting agencies, but all in a different way. The whole idea of a credit card is a scam for your score. Have a new card? Ding. Use the new card? Ding. Don’t pay the card off monthly? Ding. Use a majority of the credit available on the card at any time? Ding. Close the card? Ding. Whatever.

A buddy of mine got dinged some ridiculous number of points for paying 2 cards off; I got dinged for paying off an account and raised for opening a new 0% card. Makes zero sense. Yes, it is definitely a racket.

Same thing happened to me as a young lad. I just signed up for stupid cards like Old Navy and such which usually builds enough credit history to get real card.

I understand. You're still working. For me it's just socks. My tan lines are from flip-flops.

Panic buttons on car fobs, car alarms, and retards that, instead of just hitting the lock button on the door as they exit, wait until they are 3' away, then turn back and press the lock button over and over until the horn beeps, when the vehicle was locked 17 fuk'n clicks ago!
I'm sick and tired of idiots that sit on their fob and their car is out in the parking lot, beeping for 10 min at a time.
This beeping feature needs to be eliminated altogether.
I'm in the market for an RPG.
    If anyone knows anyone.

I occasionally use this feature on my truck and, a little more frequently, on my wife's car. I usually park in the back 40 so I can find the car later when I get done shopping, eating, or whatever. Her car can hide behind almost anything bigger than a '75 Beetle and I rarely remember where I parked it. I point the fob at my head and press the panic button and listen for the horn. Then I walk toward the sound.
The last time I needed this feature I still couldn't find my truck. It was at Mercy Gilbert hospital. She parked by the emergency room entrance. I parked by the main entrance. We walked out together to her car. I couldn't find my truck to save my life. A security guard drove me around until I saw it.
All that to say the panic button has a usefulness.

Back when we still had just a tent, we were camping one time next to a family with a Honda Odyssey with a power rear lift gate and power sliding doors. Every time you open or close one of those, it makes a long, loud beep. These people must have been in and out of the van every 5 seconds all day for a week.

I was watching the guy make breakfast one morning.

Walk to the van, open the door (with a beep), take out the cooler, close the door (with a beep). Carry the cooler over to the cooking area.
Walk to the van, open the door (with a beep), take out a frying pan, close the door (with a beep). Carry the pan over to the cooking area.
Walk to the van, open the door (with a beep), take out a spatula, close the door (with a beep). Carry the spatula over to the cooking area.
Walk to the van, open the door (with a beep), take out the dishes, close the door (with a beep). Carry the dishes over to the cooking area.

I was about to walk over, slap him in the head and wedge something under the door so he would just leave it open.

I hate camping within sight or sound of other people. Even within smell of them. Whenever someone near us lights up a joint or cigarette, we usually end up pulling stakes and moving.

If I wanted to smell pot smoke or cancer, I'd just go hang out in the Wal-Mart parking lot. I'm camping so I can enjoy fresh air and the smells of nature, not whatever carcinogen you decide to partake in.

I respect and appreciate your view.
I have considered the rare times where/when it may actually be useful.
However, I reached a final decision and when I'm in charge, this feature will be banned.

I'm exactly the same. Some have zero respect for fellow campers. Don't get me started with those damn generators. This is why I love backpack camping in the mountains. 99% of the peeps out there won't hike over a pass to camp.

    People are morons.

I put a washing machine on Craigslist because I refuse to use facebook.

Pretty straight forward, cash only no trades, they have to pick it up with minimal help from me to load. I included my approximate location and exactly when I could make myself available.

I get people asking if I can deliver. If I can take payments. I'm only asking $150 for a newer and clean machine that I paid 700 for because I need it out of my way. Can you accept pennies? (being dramatic here). They ask where I live. All the details explicitly outlined in my ad.

I'm about to haul this bastard to the dump just to avoid these people. Some a-hole is probably going to show up and say he doesn't like the color and can't make a deal because of it.

Realistically if someone shows up and they are flat broke, I'll probably give the damned thing away.

I sold our old fridge and the guy refused my help loading it instead slides it in the bed of his truck on the side of the fridge totally scratching the fridge. Then, hauls it away on the side. He calls a couple hours later and says it doesn't fit his opening and if we would give him his money back. What a dick weed.

In that case take it to Goodwill or some other group that would benefit from reselling it. And you'd get a bit of a write off on taxes.

One of our favorite campgrounds stays busy, but we deal with it if we get our site because it's so damn beautiful. I love ya'll Mexicans, but damn, not everybody wants to hear that f'ing mariachi music into the night.
