Do it! I have SCS wheels on the 4runner(Gen5s) and on the old GX(F5s) and the quality is unmatched. I also like the fact they make the holes slightly bigger to use spline lug nuts.

I was set on the F5s again for the Tundra but after talking with @STravis and my wife, they both convinced me the Ray10s would look better on the Tundras so a set of 5 were ordered.

I may still order a set of gunmetal F5s for the tundra and just hang them in the garage haha. I really liked them on the GX.

You’ll need to order straight through SCS. You’ll pay some freight, but it’s worth it. Vin ships fast if they’re in stock!

But them. They’re so nice. I just washed mine up tonight…

Get a set of their extended lug nuts and you’re good to go!

Although, we’re more than happy to spend your money if you’d like.

Get yourself a second spare spline key incase you lose the original or break it.

You can purchase the TRD center caps on your own.

Typically, folks use a 1/2” drive torque wrench, but what matters most is that you have one that can achieve 97 lb/ft torque.

I'm a few days late but definitely this. I keep one in the truck and the spare in the toolbox at home. I've had a situation where I've lost my key and had to find a buddy who happened to have the same key to change out a flat.

I had one that one of the techs at discount tire placed on my bumper and I drove off and it got lost. They paid to have two sent to me.

I will add that to a future order. UPS shows the original order will be here in a couple of days so I missed that smart piece of advice...

I sure wish @SCSPerformance offered these Blaze 10 for us 5-lug Tundra guys. Love my Ray 10s, but prefer without the ring…. So clean, and easy to keep clean!

I agree. I had the Ray 10’s on my Tacoma but the blaze 10’s look cleaner aesthetically. Both solid picks.

Definitely cleaner but without the ring your valve stem is exposed and could break if hit by a rock etc on a trail. I forget who did that to his on here, but his valve stem hit something on a trail and snapped his off and cracked his wheel as well.

Valid point, and it is great to have options. If mine was a wheeler, I’d agree! But, ‘tis not the case. Not that kind of wheeling at least.

Welp.... Wheels are delivered and now comes the hard part... Before that, as mentioned.... Damn! Pictures do not do these wheels justice!

    upload_2024-5-16_18-48-12.png

Here is where I am at on the tire talk...

I am currently running 275/55/20 and was leaning towards 275/65/18 to stick to the current height and known values. I am debating going with the 275/70/18.

I will look at local availability, pricing and warranty, but here is where I am conflicted... Fuel economy matters as I put around 18-20k miles per year, maybe more.

    upload_2024-5-16_19-10-27.png

Leaning really hard towwards the first line, but I keep going back and forth on the last one.... $400 more and for what? Is what i keep going back to. they are heavier, but they can handle more weight. That said, this stocker hasnt a load issue either, even in the SD road trip.

Open for yalls feedback or thoughts. I plan on scheduling an appointment for next week. If i dont get jumpy and go tomorrow.

+1 on the Toyo AT3's. I would like to get new wheels for mine but I don't know what I want to go with.
