You live in Arizona. There should be quite a few garage queen used 2021s in your area for quite a bit less than new. So many folks had to get the new one and traded in their never off roaded cream puffs.

Heck, since Toyota didn't change much over the years in the 2.5 Gen I bet you could go back a few years and find them with not that many miles on them.

I got this 2018 with only 32,500 miles on it and great car fax recorded service on it. Lots of retirees in FL and Arizona that take incredible care of them but don't drive much. Good luck.

Never mind, that was a few months back. It is hard to keep up the more Toyota makes the cheaper these get. They are at MSRPs of $71-$72k with most selling at discounts in the mid to low $60s. That was a Platinum TRD OR truck which is now priced at $76ish but they have even a larger discount on them. I should have waited now but then again I doubt I would have gotten $54k for my used Raptor with 50k plus miles which gave me a huge down payment on the Tundra. I guess it all evens out, but I would imagine the prices of used trucks have fallen if huge discounts are in the new vehicle segments now. Hopefully the MSRP days are long gone for good.

There's a guy on this forum who sells Toyota and Lexus warranties for a lot less than the dealer from what I hear. You should be able easily find the thread on here if you're going to purchase an extended warranty.

Yep that’s my plan in a year or so. Not buying it from the dealer (it’s not on the quote)

Yeah I’m actually in CO now on the Western Slope but doesn’t appear to be Tunrda dominating market, lots of smaller Toyotas but most full size trucks are Chevy.
    I’m actually considering a Tacoma. Only $50k for a Trd off-road o_O

That looks like a solid price for a 24 Limited Hybrid OR. I paid a bit less MSRP but more (unnecessary) add ons that drove up the price above what you are paying.

deposit has been made. Just noticed tho the truck has chrome. I thought I read all limited with off-road package had nightshade package to color match everything.

I have choose between the $1,500 rebate or a 3.99% rate for 60 months. Going with the rate the OTD price is actually 62,170. I may opt for the 1.99% for 48 months and just pay the bare minimum payment.

I showed a couple Florida dealers the quote and they told me it was a scam they would never sell a truck if people could buy them out of state that cheap. Said it’s under invoice and dealer is losing about $4,000 on the deal. I don’t believe them. I look forward to pulling up in the truck and showing them lol.

Florida Toyota dealers are sticking together to force higher prices with fees and add ons. I am not surprised they told you that. I can't wait until Toyota sells direct to the public and shuts down dealer sales.

How do you get 4.9% @ 72 months? I was quoted 7%ish with over 800 credit score?

In Oregon Toyota was at 2.25% for 48 months and 3.99% for 60 last month when i bought mine. I assume they are at 4.99% for 72 as well.

Was that actually a TFS offer or just the dealer? My TFS rates were good for any model even the pro I think.

When I bought mine a few weeks back Toyota was only advertising 3.99% @ 60 on their website. However, going through the dealers website to the finance stuff opened up more TFS rates. I would have never known about the 2.25% if I wouldnt have done that. Confirmed with dealer that it was all TFS offers and went with the 2.25% over the $1,000 rebate as my CU was at 6.5%. FYI my credit score came back at over 860, too. No brainer to take the TFS rate and finance some of it.

Jettster honestly I was hoping for 25-26k on the trade, it was a little rough both bumpers had issues dents (minor with no broken paint) dings and scratches all over, and some minor mechanical issues (all fixable) It would have cost us around 2k to get it fixed and we might have seen 27k but realistically 26,500 max so I felt ok on the trade I agree that they will make thier money on the trade but if we had sold it elsewhere we would have lost out on the tax savings so I was happy with the deal. Would I have liked to pay less, of course but I didn't feel ripped of and we made the deal quickly after having wasted a couple of hours at another dealership down the road that wouldn't come off sticker at all on the exact same truck. Most important, my son the college grad is a very happy camper with his graduation gift!

Here in Arkansas Toyota is doing 0.9% interest. Thinking about trading my 22 Hybrid Limited in for a 24 Hybrid Platinum. Suppose drive it tomorrow.

tesilential, There shouldn't be any chrome on that build. Did the dealer tell you that? I just built it on the Toyota site and it shows all body color front with no chrome.

The spec sheet says it has chrome but the dealer confirmed all the TRD OR package on the limiteds deletes all chrome.

I have seen folks on this forum post limited with trd or that DO have chrome. Maybe they don’t really have 2024’s?

dealer should get my truck this week and then I’ll fly out to pick it up.

Total discount was $8,500 under MSRP plus options ($500 off what I posted earlier). No BS add ons, $300 dealer fee. No rebate, I am taking the 1.99% for 48 months. I was going to put a good chunk down but I’m actually considering 0 down due to the rate being so low.

Hello, new poster here. I've read the most recent few pages of this thread and while I think I am being fairly reasonable, I am having a tough time getting a deal through here in the Pacific NW. Looking at a Limited hybrid in Lunar Green with TRD offroad and a few other specific options (limited power package, sunroof, bedliner). I'm aiming for 10% off MSRP - including the $2000 customer cash. I don't need financing and don't have a trade so trying to give them an out the door price and if they agree to it I'll come in and write a check. Seems like an easy way for a dealer to move a truck sitting on their lot. I'm also working with one dealer at a time as I don't really feel good about pitting them against each other.

I had one dealer where we agreed on the price, but then after that about $1300 was added including an extra $400 "required" insurance and $900 in various fees. I was expecting a few additional fees, but the unadvertised insurance and that much in fees was a bit annoying to me so pushed back and told them I didn't want the insurance and I'd split the fees with them. Haven't heard back from them since then.

I put in an offer at another dealer and told them my out the door price which was 10% off MSRP, plus taxes and about $400 for title/registration and dealer fees. What I offered was about $1,500 below what they were advertising it for on their website. That was a day and a half ago and haven't heard back, not even a counter.

Am I being too aggressive on my pricing? I get it if my offer doesn't work for them, but to just ghost someone making a legit offer seems downright unprofessional. This is why I only buy a new once every ten years...

I would still finance with a no prepayment penalty then simply pay it off in full. Never give away your hand, the financing is money on the table for them and incentive to give you a deal.

I live in Florida and after visiting many dealers in the Southeast Toyota (SET) network of dealers, it was obvious they are all singing the same tune…..ridiculous dealer add-ons that no one wants and they won’t remove, ridiculous fees to pad their profits, forcing cash buyers to finance in order to get below MSRP prices, and in some instances, offering exorbitant interest rates (~9.9%!!!) to discount below MSRP.
I told them to go pound sand; instead I purchased a fully loaded 2024 Limited TRD OR outside the SET network for $66,525 from an original sticker of $74,644.

I will never purchase a Toyota from any SET dealership in the future unless they step away from their moronic policies.
