I wanted a faster vehicle so I also bought a Chevy SS... because 4 door sedans with big V8’s are hilarious.
More fun and games with the AI AT-X after installing new glass in a Spuhr mount:

Well I finally got the call my 300 Blk Out was ready from getting a Distress AR Cerakote.
I had sent the girl who did the Cerakote a link from the Cerakote site that showed what colors to use.
Then I told her not to make it exact but use her judgement and go with the flow.
Here is the link to colors, etc. Distressed AR Cerakoted using Patriot Brown, Graphite Black and Flat Dark Earth | Cerakote
    Here are a few pictures.
First picture is With Out the Silencer

    Second picture with Silencer 20240210_120822.jpg

I ordered a High Profile Mount for my ATN X Sight Scope. When I get it in and mounted will post a picture of complete setup.

Sadly, mine were all lost in a tragic boating accident. (Gun guys are terrible boaters!) but they looked something like these.

Joined a well-equipped range today...zeroed the green dot on my A300. Got there at the end...8 small dots in the white circle are 00 buck at 15 yards, the solid holes are at 10. Out of the ring was wadding and me trying to shoot fast...
And we both shot steel targets first time...FUN! Wife with her HK VP9...she was laughing like a kid!

Got a decent deal on a G30 with "frying pan finish" off Gunbroker, she came in yesterday and I had Trijicon night sights and an OEM extended slide lock waiting for her. I did a $0.25 trigger job on her today and going to try and get her along with the G21 to the range this afternoon if I can.20240302_112305.jpg

I love the 30/30s pistols. I think they are the best striker fired .45 on the market. Compact but still holds 10 + 1 rounds of God's caliber!

It's heavy and honestly kinda awkward and just yet another cheaply made Turkish shotgun

Shops buy them up by the dozens because they're cheap and then push them because they're cheap

You'd be better off saving the 200 or 300 that whatever shop is selling it for and buying something more reliable or that will have warranty support when things don't work

At least you're diverse; different stocks, different optics, different slings, different brakes, etc...

I had a friend from several years ago that preferred shooting AKs over some of the other platforms; he was a left handed shooter as well and said the AK platform was much more accommodating and 'fitting' to him

Its nice to have different flavors. Being a lefty, some aftermarket parts make the ak platform one of the best guns for me at least. Might be parting with some guns here shortly. Truck parts are expensive :D

So not a gun pic, but, anyone know of an outdoor range near manassas, VA with at least 100yd target range? 25 yd indoor range seems to be the norm around here. Quantico seems to be the only one around here but timing seems to be tricky.

This is not a gun but for my Savage Axis II 300 BLK rifle. Waiting on a new picatinny rail to mount it but was playing with it last night out on the Golf course. Impressive picture qualities for being at night

Well I went to mount it then realized with the collar on my neck I am not going to be able adjust the eye relief so I just threw it on there until I get the collar off. Pic for now
