Man, I am super excited. We just decided to head back to Pinellas County tonight. Going to spend the weekend running around seeing family and possibly go to the forbidden place (beach) for a morning walk tomorrow. It means I still wont get my headlights installed, but I get to be home a bit before Mother's Day.

Congratulations!! I just celebrated 18 years this past March and then got hit with the RIF this past Wednesday. No biggie for me, my financial advisor had me down for retirement next April and I planned on one more year so just about 18 months shy by the time my term is up and I retire there. That time will be September 8th so now I have been waking up with… nothing to do. I love it so far, freaking the F out but so so relaxed and relieved that I am no longer working for the Man.

 

I hit 25yrs back on 3/15. Nothing from my leadership on that milestone so F them. I've told my supervisor to expect nothing but the bare minimum from me going forward after 10 straight years of 5.0 (max score) on Performance Appraisals.

I'm in the office on Mondays only, and home rest of week with every other Fri off. 5yrs to go

 

Thanks! I read where you're going to try to claw back a separation package out of which you got cheated. Will be interested to know how that goes. Did they exclude you because it was x-dollars for x-years of service, and the bill would have been too high, or just general douchebaggery?

 

Once I started reading my severance package they offered I see there is the option to retire which I am but also they pay per years of service so I am getting 36 weeks of pay for that and some other perks. I mentioned to them my disappointment for not getting the package offered last year so that is what appeared on my package. I am fine with that. Could give me time to work on the build of my own home in Colorado

 

Seekins I have a few. Great setups. My 8” 300 blk is one of my favorite rifles.

 

I got a wood '20' and a couple of hundred bucks in an employee recognition app that I can use for something fun. Probably a Garmin watch, but haven't decided yet. I'm fully working from home, but I put in max effort (except when I'm browsing Tundras.com). It's been a good 20, and I'll keep her.

And yes for you OCD cru, I know the tower isn’t in the correct position, but it fits better this way.

It is a recent addition to the garage bar as my long time buddy is moving him and his family back to where he and his wife are from originally.
Outside of London.

He told me, no ordered me, to pick it up so that a memory of him will always have a beer with me.

..Fun fact about the tap handles. They are all made from scrap wood that came out of my kitchen when I removed a wall and renovated it.
