I don't think there's a thread on the subject so i figured i'd start one since that is one of the big changes on my upcoming redesign....

So who's running them and what are you running? Show those set ups.....

The front? I’d be worried the marbles in my head would rattle out, lol.

Out of curiosity why do you want to run a sub upfront?

I have tm8 in the doors and 2 bm12 mk5 behind the back seat.

however, my dash is taking a beating as all the bass is coming from deep in the dash.

    More about tune.

where are you thinking about placing one.

oddly enough everyone who gets in my truck looks for the subs up front. They can’t believe the subs are behind the back seat until I actually show them.

The beating of the dash doors is the goal for this to avoid. It’s not going to be anything huge or tuned ultra low. I’d say it borders the mid bass line/sub duty line. And I’m eventually going from the 2 Arc 10s to a single Audiomobile 12 out back. I would actually like to do an Audiomobile 10 as the front sub but am leaning more towards Faitalpro or SBacoustics.

Lots of post on DIYMA about front sub set ups. Really just looking if any of the folks here running them as I’ve only talked with a few Tundra guys over there that run them.

gotcha. My tundra is definitely set up for sq. My point is that everything is upfront and blended as a single unit. It can get loud and rowdy to a degree, not like a ground pounder by any means but solid midbass and super clean down to 20hz. But I get what you’re saying.
But I do find most vehicles that want or have front subs are due to tuning issues or getting the blend right between sub and midbass.
