I like the Toyota branded one.
    PT318-34221-LB
    Long bed 8.1ft: https://www.sparksparts.com/oem-parts/toyota-bed-mat-long-bed-pt31834221lb

    Standard (6.5 ft)
    PT318-34221
    https://www.sparksparts.com/oem-parts/toyota-tundra-bed-mat-standard-bed-pt31834221

Short bed, strange doesn’t seem available
    PT318-34221-SB
    https://www.sparksparts.com/oem-parts/toyota-tundra-bed-mat-short-bed-black-pt31834221sb

Lots of other options other than these of course. I’m happy with mine. Not the thickest and took a while to lie flat, but fit is perfect and I like the logo branding.

I'll second the bedrug. Can be bought most anywhere and comes in full coverage (which includes the sides like a drop in liner), just the bed mat, or the mat plus tailgate pad. So useful and durable.

edit: I'm slow. @Rickoo alrwady listed this. Just make sure you get the mat designed for your application. They come in different sizes depending on if you have the drop in liner, or no liner.

The video in the Bedrug ad mentioned by Rickoo mentions that you can shovel dirt, rocks, etc off of it. Has anyone tried that and were you happy with the result? I wouldn't mind taking the Bedrug out when needing to carry dirt and rocks and I don't plan on hauling that kind of stuff often anyway. But in that case wouldn't those stick-on velcro-like pads stuck to the composite bed of the Tundra get in the way?

Works for anything and everything. I mostly camp and haul kayaks and mtn bikes in my truck with occasional trash dump hauls. I sweep out any debris after said runs.never had any problems.

I only used the bed for gravel type material a couple of times. Both of which I laid a tarp down and it was pretty easy to clean up when I was done. If you plan on using the bed for this kind of stuff regularly, a hard matt may be a better option.

I would not think removing the rug on a regular basis would be good practice. The velcro is pretty strong and yes, covering it with dirt and rocks would not be a good thing. I'd have some concern about its ability to properly hold the rug afterwards.

I have the OEM one and I am not a fan as it has the TUNDRA logo raised right in between the wheel wells so every time you slide something in, it catches on that logo. When you are sliding golf clubs in and out 3 times a week, it's a pain in the ass . I ended up cutting a piece of carpet the exact same size to lay over it. Also a year later it still stinks

If youre golfing 3 times a week, I can see how this might be the biggest annoyance you have to deal with. ;)

    5.5 box?
Were you able to use the cutoffs from the main mat to fill in those little side pieces?
Did you also fill in the side pieces at the front of the box?

did you consider Bedrug? I’m torn between Bedrug, and the black Armour. Essentially the same price. I don’t need 3/4” protection, I just need slide prevention.
But I like how the black Armour fits into the grooves were your 2x boards would go……

    ahh, first world problems.

Didn't even consider it. I throw dirty, muddy, bloody, slimey things in the bed all the time amd live where it's really dusty in summer. I also have snow and ice to deal with for 5+ months a year. I can grab a squeegee or a broom and just wipe/sweep off the rubber mat, no need to scrub or hose it down etc.

Carpet doesn't belong in truck beds imho. Same reason I won't ever own a boat with carpet in it.

Yes on 5.5, there isn't enough from the cutoff portion, but I had a mat in my garage and used a piece from it to finish the left side

OEM bed mat. I added DIY D-Rings to each bed mount, with holes in the mat above each mounting point.

Did this with both of my Tacomas I had in the past, and figured it was a must do for the Tundra. As for the holes in the bed mat, I took a hole saw and laid the mat over a 2x8 then punched a few holes in the mat. If you secure the mat to the wood with a couple wood clamps, it will make the job a lot easier. If you didnt have any clamps, you could probably get a buddy to step on the mat while you saw the holes out.
