I hate to tell you this, but this option is what the 2nd gens moved to and it’s a step up from the old 1st gen stuff. I absolutely love the braking feel from the fancy electric master cylinder and the Auto LSD is the predecessor to A-Trac which also works very well.

The advanced traction control does get a little annoying when you lift it. You have to do multiple zero point calibrations to get it to set right.

I wish my 07’ Sequoia had this option.

I guess that’s subjective. At the risk of sounding like a grandpa, to me the perceived “benefit” of this doesn’t outweigh the risk of having to replace that uber expensive, hard to find master cylinder.

well shit, I just bought a 2005 AC 4x4 sr5 with this Auto LSD button, I switched from a 2wd so I didn’t think anything about it. If it breaks is it possible to swap back to mechanical lsd and the normal master cylinder or am I screwed.

On another note, do you think cool springs Roman still has the wood grain center piece? I could use that.

I don’t think Cool Springs still sells parts in the same way. But I can get the part number for you.

On the VSC thing, I don’t know what you can do if anything. There are some other things I think problematic on the VSC trucks too, I think one is maybe a tilt/rotation sensor that’s under the center console somewhere?

I wouldn’t sweat it. Just enjoy. My truck has little things about it that I’m not super stoked on. You just gotta learn to be OK with imperfections, think of it as character -> your truck has freckles.

yeahhh. Unicorn freckles. I thought it was cool to have a LSD button before I learned more. Remember my dash is lit up with vsc and other lights, I wasn’t worried about it before but I am now

I would appreciate the part # if you have it, google wasn’t helpful at all in locating it

Note the part ending in "350" here: https://www.tundras.com/threads/wha...t-gen-tundra-today.2558/page-702#post-1851043

That's the woodgrain dash bezel with 3 buttons. Roman sent me a picture of it ... let me dig back thru PMs and I'll eidt this with the pic.

Here you go, this is VSC/Auto-LSD equipped trucks part number 84013-0C350, you may need to remove the hyphen in the part number under the new system. Note the main difference: There's an added opening for Auto-LSD (VSC) button to the left of the 4HI/LO buttons just left of the clock, which is distinctly different from the non-VSC part number (84013-0C310, pic):

Thank you! I ordered both window control panels today off eBay for $100. Also 3 new control knobs, Still looking for anyone with a photo of the center dash bezel w/vsc to match with them before I purchase. I have the same center console piece as you and am having a hard time finding a wood one with photos, but I may convert it to bench seats as I like them better. Haven’t gone into that rabbit hole yet

I'm confused by the bold text I'm quoting here. I just posted a picture of the dash bezel. That's what Roman received from Toyota when he ordered the part ending in "0c350". Note it has 3 openings.

Yes I see that it’s the right part, I was hoping to find one for sale online that had a picture to show that the colour of wood was the same as the side control panels I ordered. If it comes just like that I think I’m golden. Do you have a link to purchase? Or should I just pull the trigger on here https://www.toyotapartsdeal.com/oem/toyota~panel~sub~assy~integration~84013-0c350.html

I bought a rare black/gray burlwood bezel and it has 4wd/Auto LSD buttons. Tested it out and everything that is on my stick bezel works and of course 4wd/Auto LSD don’t because of the obvious. Has anyone ever had electronic issues using a bezel that has buttons that wouldn’t work anyway?

I’ll post it when I get off work. Apparently it’s a super rare bird now that is has the Auto LSD button. I can’t do much with your offer tho. My stock is black, in great shape and is for a 2WD vehicle. I’d pretty much be by stock bezel with extra buttons at that point LOL

VW /AUDI called this ELD. Its hard on drivetrain and works by using the ABS wheel speed sensors to Apply brakes to wheel with dratically higher wheel speed. Most hear are right good driving techniques are better but i have them be a some benefit in snow.

Its basicslly a fancy "E-Brake" trick button if you get a wheel in the air. Cool score. Never seen one before.

Bed Tundy, are those 3 buttons momentary switches or do they latch in?

On my truck without the "Auto LSD" button, I have one of each. The "2HI/4HI" button latches in when you press it and you press it again for it to release and come back out. The "4LO" button is momentary, you push it in and it comes all the way back out immediately.

What do the 3 of yours do?

I would not touch that button in 4wd. I would only use in 2wd.

    Thanks! I’m curious.

Auto LSD pops in and comes back out. 2/4hi sticks, 4lo pops

turning 4hi on shuts off auto lsd on my truck. But also pops a no vsc code at the same time.

I did try to find a full set, part numbers, etc. because this is what I was going to go with in my truck. I ended up with wood grain because I couldn't find the parts. It's almost like Toyota didn't make it. Out of curiosity, if you flip the part over, do you see a p/n on it anywhere? Like 10 digits, separated by a hyphen in the middle, or 12 digits, with a hyphen after the 5th and 10th digit?

I wouldn't go thru the pain of swapping guts over again. I actually may have found the center piece, but not the cupholder or door cards. For some reason, I have it stuck in my head this trim must've been, like, something optional on T3s or something.

I tried too but couldn’t find anything. It’s like they either made this bezel only or they made so little of this interior kit that it’s just rare AF.

I’m not sure if it was a T3 only thing. If I recall correct, T3 was 2WD only. My bezel to install has 4WD buttons on it.

I plan to install this bezel with the wood grain pieces I have. It sounds funky but it actually looks good. To me anyway. I refuse to gut again like you said. It was expensive to find these pieces in their condition

From what I could find in deep research, this was optional like the wood grain but it never showed pictures of anything but the bezel. I’m starting to think it was bezel only in a black and gray interior, like my truck. That is, unless you have sourced the other parts

I think the part number you pulled may actually be for the components attached to the bezel. The bezel itself is sold with just the face, not populated with buttons and circuit boards. That part number comes back to the components that get attached to the back of the panel.

I’ve never been so interested in black wood before……
That really does look great. It has me thinking I should keep all my black trim and just try to find a center piece just like that? But the original wood will look perfect with all my Christmas lights on the dash.

It has a defrost button under the cargo lamp, so that’s another clue. My Auto LSD access cab has that button as a blank, Did access cabs come with rear window defrost?

If nobody minds, can I share my trucks issues in this thread? Maybe someone else will have similar problems.

I pulled the codes, all 5 ABS related.
    C0205(Front Speed Sensor LH Circuit)
    C0210(Rear Speed Sensor RH Circuit)
    C0215(Rear Speed Sensor LH Circuit)
    C1223(ABS Control System Malfunction)
C1290(Abnormal Zero Point Of Steering Angle Sensor)

had a fun day comparing engines side by side to see what’s different and what’s broken haha. IMG_2118.jpg
I’m curious about using this space for something fun, air compressor? secondary deep cycle battery for auxiliary power? Micro tool kit with extra 10mm sockets?

I do plan to lift it, well, it is currently lifted shittily with spacers and no extended bump stops, so the shocks are blown. Maybe this is the cause of my C1290(Abnormal Zero Point Of Steering Angle Sensor) code? I will research more about how to calibrate it because I’ve never heard of that before.

I'd suggest starting another thread for your specific issues. Not just to keep things simple and this thread on topic- but also to make someone's search for help easier and simpler. The search function on this site isn't great- starting another thread about your issues would make someone else's search significantly easier.

That said- I just put an air compressor in that spot in my truck. Fits perfect. Check out page 12 of the thread in my signature.

Yup, all ABS. But I don't see ABS squid in any of the pics you posted. The hell?

Anyway, check fuse(s) related to ABS first and foremost. And make sure the sensors are still attached, all wiring is plugged in. Seriously doubt three would be bad at the same time. Maybe someone disco'd stuff because ABS was locking up. Others have complained of same.

00-04 had a diff't button layout than 05-06, I know this for sure. 5spd transmission left them employing a "Shift L" button or whatever in the center dash.

Maybe see if your front right speed sensor looks different than FL. If not, u do neg tern. Swap, clear codes and see what codes come back. I have yet to do one , are the wss the rubber boot looking plug ? If so hopefully its not reading off a magnet in hub assembly or some dumb stuff. Yes I mounted my arb compressor and sent wiring through pass side grommet. I pointed my filter towards fender.

Weird, thanks for checking. It should be a number starting with "84013", so that's definitely not it. But it's all good. I was just interested to see whether I could actually pull it up. I'd seen in catalogs or elsewhere the black swirly one was available, but never have been able to run up a parts list with it
