This replaced out 2018 Tundra Platinum build and has been the complimentary vehicle to our 2020 TRD Offroad 4Runner.

Photos and build parts are documents on our website and socials, which I'll link for anyone curious.

We've been very impressed with this platform so far, and have really enjoyed that the feeling of our 2018 Tundra seems to be very well represented... we just miss the true growl of the V8.

Our major focus on this build is our AluCabin. We are hoping to set aside enough time in the next one to two years to travel up to Tuktoyaktuk (Tuk) in the Northwest Territories. Everything looks so beautiful out vast up that way, that we're really hoping to be able to achieve this goal while not needing to quit our jobs.

We worked with a team out of Toronto, Ontario named Red Bear Outdoors. They have been an invaluable source of information and just amazing people. We've developed a friendship through our various visits and we can't say enough good things about them.

Here is the list of AluCab products we've used so far and some photos to go along with it.

Cabin - Load Bars - Water Tank - 270 Awning - Shower Cube - Bug Nuts for windows and door - water tank storage bags - table - molle panels - spare wheel bracket.

While it was a fair sized investment, we've really enjoyed the overall quality and ease of use of the Alucab products. We chose for the time being not to build out the interior as we've chosen currently to keep it open and useable for tote storage while allowing us to continue to use the bed for home projects. The water storage and living enhancements like the awning and shower cube, have been perfect complimentary items on our trips last season. Sleeping quarters are typically setup within the minute and entire setup if fully deployed within about 5 mins. Tear down has been just as easy.

CBI armor has been a welcome addition to our Tundra. We went with the full front bumper and recently added their rock sliders. We also have their skid plate set and I replaced the front TRD factory option just to keep it all uniformed. Sold off the OEM to a buddy of mine, so it all came out square. We had Line-X applied to the rock sliders as in the past and on our 4Runner it has held up very well out on the trails and gravel roads. Also fitted the holes with Baja Design lights.
