I searched for as long as my brain would allow while listening to my wife watch Vampire Diaries and me drink a few beers.

As the title says; What are your thoughts on purchasing the extended warranties when you purchase your truck? I purchased a full “wrap” warranty when I got mine. I hesitated but did it anyway. I purchased mine new in 2018, on my birthday FYI, so kudos for me……..and FINALLY got to test out my warranty last week.

I hate to say that I finally had to test it but it’s nice to say it took 6 years to finally test it. I have just shy of 80k miles. I’m sticking my neck out here. This crappy video speaks more than this post.

Agree from my experience. I bought a Truewarranty when I bought my used Tundra. Cost me $1,800 at the time - figured I was getting fleeced but did it anyway. Month after purchase the alternator went out and when I would switch the air from vent to defrost there was a pretty loud clicking from the dash. They ended up having to pull the dash to fix it. Between that and the alternator it was close to $2k (mine has a $100 deductible). Basically got my money back in the first month. Warranty company was good - no argument on paying. They also let you take it anywhere (dealer, etc.) Not for everyone but panned out for me.
