Saw these at the off-road races labor weekend. They look really good. Has anyone ran them yet?

No but I love Yoko, too bad I got a new set early this year or I would have grabbed those.

They weren't available yet when I bought the new Yokohama A/T tires a few months ago. Next time...

I'll be putting these on my truck in October . Dealer will have a buy 3 get 1 free sale. Still debating on the size though. 285/75/18 or 290/70/18. I have a 17 TRD Pro Crewmax. Any suggestions? I'll be installing the TRD Pro shims, bump stops, and +2 shackles in the back.

I just ordered a set of wheels and I’m gonna run a 295/70/18. That size looks so good.

I'm gonna stick with the stock TRD Pro rim for now. Might swap the rims out next year.

Yea they look good, so why bother. It’s gonna look good with the larger size tire.

Did you go with the Yokohama's or another tire?

I kept it simple. Went with the Nitto terragrapler g2 but might end up going with the ridge grappler. I like Nitto, had them on a few trucks and always did well.

I was debating between the Ridge Grappler or the X-AT and the warranty on the X-AT made the decision for me. They both have great reviews so I'm sure I'd like either one.

I would go with 295/70/18. Please let us know about your experience. That’s my next set of tires.

    Good looking tire.
I went Ridge Grapplers on my new 2020, but had I seen these it might have been a tough choice. If the new Ridge grapplers start getting noisy or giving any issues, I will be looking at trying some of these. I have had great Yokohama's in the past on both business and personal vehicles. I think Yokohama makes really good tires.

These are a good looking tire. They aren't the lightest tire in their category, but they seem to be pretty tough

X2 I have KO2 now thinking of switching back to Nitto..... Had the Terra Grapplers really like the look of the Ridge Grapplers.

The terra grapplers aren’t that bad, haven’t had a chance to ride on ridge graps, but I imagine not too much more than the terras.

I am very happy with the sound level of my new Ridge Grapplers. They are a lot quieter then the Toyo At2 I have had, the Goodyear Duratracs, and the KO2s I have had in the past . That was one of the main points mentioned in all the reviews I had read on the Ridge grapplers, was just how quiet they are for tire with this sort of aggressive looking tread design. I would need to get some more miles on mine to know how long they will stay quiet like they are now.
I am very impressed so far. I have right at a 1000 miles on mine as of this week .

Is anyone actually running these tires?
I’m leaning towards the Geolandar X-AT in 295/70R17 to go on some Rock Warriors I picked up. Have always run KO2s on my Tacoma but looking for something that doesn’t chunk out so bad in the desert.

My brother runs Yokohama Geolander II All Terrains: he says he ran them almost 70,000 miles, good off road, awesome on road, completely quiet, awesome in rain, and easy to balance.

What I’m finding mostly amounts to YouTube advertising “reviews”. These have what appears to be a substantially more aggressive tread than the KO2 and I’d be curious to know how the pavement noise compares between the two.
In the meantime, I have my 17” wheels cluttering up my garage.

The “professional” reviews I have read say they are surprisingly quiet on pavement. That’s about all I can find. I’m running KO2 now and the road noise is ok. I’m just looking for something different.
